Jumping on the Schwinn mania : my Schwinn Mirada from (I think) 1990.
Found it ditched in the street and rode it a few years before putting it aside for a year or two.
Decided to disassemble it entirely as an exercise and changed about everything except the frame, using old parts, except for the panier :
Took out the front derailleur and went single plateau for simplicity. Schwalbe Kojak for the style and speed on concrete.
Sometimes I want to change for a lighter bike, or one with disc-brakes, or even repaint it. But I tink I’m too attached to my “first” bike
