I purchased this bike in Okinawa Japan for a few hundred bucks. Wasn’t initially planning on starting a tour but similar to Forest Gump, I just kept peddling and now have around 1000 km on it through coastline and mountain terrain with some cheap Amazon panniers. Based on my age and current ability I’ve decided that I should tour down the Croatian coastline while my body is still able and I have the financial means to do so. This would be something extraordinary to accomplish for me.
I’ve been researching online and reading some forums regarding touring bikes and realized there is so much more to know so I thought I’d reach out to others more experienced and ask how shitty my bike is for the task I’m wanting to put it to work on.

Aluminum frame, I can curl the bike with one arm not sure of weight.
