I was rinsing my bike off not paying attention where I was holding it, and this piece fell off. Being new to Bromptons (and not seeing where it fell off) I’m struggling to reattach it.
I think I figured out that its some kind of shock that goes in the rear of the bike, but I’m struggling to get it back on. Does anyone know what the part is called and have a video they can link or post on how to properly reattach it to a Brompton Electric C Line?
Thanks!

It’s your tire pump, look up a video on YouTube
It is a lezyne tire pump made for Brompton. It attaches to the rear triangle.
It’s an unusable pump. No need to carry it along. I tried it and couldn’t get it to do anything noticable.

Good to keep your tire pump with you on your bike. Here’s a video from brompton showing how to install the mount that holds it. If you fast forward a bit, you’ll see how the pump attaches.

It’s the pump, it’s on the nipples in the rear triangle
there are stories of the pump coming off and jamming between the back triangle and the wheel and did damage.
leave it off, and carry it in a bag
I use velcro strap to secure the pump in place, you were so lucky it didn’t feel off while riding. it could jam between rear wheel and rear frame and ruin your spokes.
Make sure you push the red ring to secure the pump in place, it can still pops out after clicking in the slot
I’ve had this pump fall off while riding, I just leave it at home now.
