    That looks very old school. Like the era that had shift levers that look like a machine tool lever with a big black knob on it. I would start at the website for the dropper post you have. Maybe even contact them.

  2. Top is like for a brake and bottom for gears.

    Cable is too thin for an adult bike but kids it would be fine. I once used it as a brake cable along with gear housing and it made the brakes feel alot better since the housing doesn’t flex.

    If you search for something like “dropper barrel nut” that’ll replace the barrel portion of the cable & give you more options. I’ve got one for a KS Lev that measures 5mm diameter & 10mm length FWIW.

  4. That’s a cable designed for dropper posts. Normally dropper posts use regular shift cables with a separate detached barrel nut that is cinched down with a set screw.

    Its for the dropper post. The barrel shape fits into the actuator under the seatpost. It should fit into a standard shifter cable housing.
