Just need some quick help here. I have a 2022 Trek Checkpoint ALR5. Since the frame is all kinds of abused, I want to strip it for parts (and install a cheap fixie setup to run it as my indoor trainer) and use them on a new Surly Frame. (somewhat urgent as I have been looking for weeks for a Surly frame. One has popped up, and the store also sells my desired Hope BB. Hence I need to figure this out quickly, so I can order everything together)
The cranks are [Praxis Alba](https://praxiscycles.com/product/alba/), and per their website the M30 spindle is 30mm on the drive side, but 28mm on the non drive. Will this fit with a regular [30mm Hope BSA BB](https://www.bike-components.de/en/Hope/Stainless-Steel-Bottom-Bracket-for-30-mm-Axle-p43139/)?
Of course, Praxis advertises their special M30 BB, but I cannot for the life of me figure out if that 28mm non drive width applies to the left side bearing (which would mean that a true 30mm BB would be too wide), or only to the left side crank…
