Have a chance to buy one or the other for really cheap. Id like to start hauling my daughter (65lbs) around and im curious if anyone here has any input on which one i should pick. We had a bike trailer (one of those half bike tag along trailer things) and we both hated how wobbly everything was, but the weehoo appears to sit lower which would really help with this issue. I really like the idea of the xtracycle however. Im regularly carrying cargo and something like this would help. I also have a regular schwinn walmart trailer too that this would be replacing. Both of these things have their pros and cons but id really like to hear some real world experience with either.

I could also buy both and build a crazy train bike but we’ll see

  1. I had a crazy train bike for a time, towing a half bike tag along, which towed a Burley trailer. The crazy train bike convinced me I needed a cargo bike, and I ended up with an Xtracycle. It’s now been about 18 months and over 2300 miles.

Get the Xtracycle, you won’t regret it other than to add electrification.
