As per title.

I was advised on another forum to seek advice on here.

Bike is a late 90’s/early 2000’s sluminium frame/carbon fork Paul Milnes cyclocross bike with canti brakes, and a mixture is Shimano Tiagra and Deore XT.

Also has Mavic OpenPro wheels, Tektro cross tops, Sella Italia saddle and a Cane Creek Headset.

I bought this a few years for 150 quid off a bloke used to race ‘cross regularly.

I used it for a bit of commuting, riding down muddy bridleways and generally dicking about like.a absolute hooligan!😀

However, it is totally shagged, so I’m wondering what to do with it as I’m not exactly brilliant at bike repair, and I don’t really have the space do much anyyway?

Thoughts?

  1. Ride it?

What do you mean “totally shagged?”

New brake pads, new cables, new chain, maybe a new cassette and she’s good as new.

  2. Heck yes! There’s so much good here. Keep it as is. Upgrade the worn out components but it looks sweet!

Keep it, service it and ride it/race it.

Paul Milne bikes are well respected in the UK CX scene.

£150 spent on renovation is money well spent, you won’t regret it.
