New to me diamondback ascent EX. Got it as an “underbike” to ride around Tempe when I don’t wanna pedal my Marin alpine trail. It is awesome so far!
I have replaced the chainring with a narrow wide, im waiting on new bullhorn barends, grips, and a new seatpost.
This bike has been hopped up by one of the previous owners, hand built aluminum wheels, upgraded brakes, 1x conversion. Probably more but I don’t have the eye for this stuff yet. Got the bike for $140. It’s a 21 inch frame.
What seat would you recommend that is cheap and would fit the style of this bike? This isn’t the original and it is super uncomfortable.
What are your thoughts on the Continental traffic tires? I’m usually a maxxis guy, and I’m thinking of throwing some tan wall DTH’s at it. These tires are in good condition & I wanna keep this bike cheap but I don’t think they are very cool… Thoughts?
