I’m planning some maintenance on my specialized secteur 2013 and over the last week the chain keeps chucking as well as the arm coming up and loosing tension when back pedaling. I’ve loosened the cable adjustment barrel which may have solved it but need to test ride to check.
What do you think? Strip, clean and re index or replace?
Hard to find a replacement though as it’s a specalized 2300 so I think the closest I can get is a claris r2030 which may work?
(I’m replacing the chain, wheels and front derailleur)

It looks like it’s a little out of adjustment but straight. I’d tighten that barrel adjuster half a turn.
Agree with the other comment. Looks straight, but slightly out of adjustment.
