Given to me by a friend. He replaces stuff pretty often without a ton of wear.
I need to use one of these for a short while. I am upgrading my hub from microslide to XD so that I can use an old GX AXS system that I have in the garage.
Left item has Sam logo, XC 1295. XD. Right item says “Eagle chain only”. XG1275.
Use the one that does not skip on any of the cogs with a brand new chain.
Left is lighter, and more durable, and less worn. Should last a few thousand more km if you’re using fresh chains. Y oh u have a very generous friend
Left x01 is a lot more likely to last over the right GX. Machined and not stamped/pinned.
The one on the right is missing a tooth
You can order sram XD compatible cassettes on AliExpress for not a lot of money! i picked up an 11-50t recently for £40. I’ve been running them on my enduro bikes for years. Way cheaper than the official sram ones.
The left X01 is a much better and lighter cassette. From the pic…it looks like it’ll last more than a few months. It’ll probably last a few years.
