Just took advantage of the 50% sale to get my wife a [Kona Wo](https://www.konaworld.com/products/wo). It lists tubeless-ready rims…but just curious if that means they’re pre-taped or if I have to tape them (hoping to avoid messing with those giant rims).

You will need to tape. For best results, trim the rim strips, clean with 90% or higher isopropyl, and use 2 layers of Teravail tape. Use Super P-nuts with the valves.
