  1. Yes personally if it doesn’t say the direction on the tyre then I’d have the arrows facing forwards. I have seen some people who ride with a rear brake put the rear tyre on the opposite way though but tbh I don’t think it makes much difference.

    Any V shapes in the tread… always have them facing forwards. They are sipes to help push out water to the sides as you roll. Put sipes on backwards and they (in theory) gather water to the tire’s center line. That’s the only real difference.

    It’s a very marginal difference on a BMX tire and probably not enough to make any real difference. But put a tire on backwards and you’ll have to put up with people telling you your tire is on backwards all the time.
