I don’t have one on my fixed bikes but only because they’re not drilled for them. The way that I ride on those bikes vs how I ride on my geared+braked bikes is wildly different. I’m a turtle on my track bikes

What’s that blue anodised thing on your handlebars?
No need to feel sad about it man, brakes are there to be your “Oh shxt” button if skid or back pedal isn’t enough, plus its much much safer.
Always good for emergencies.
