I thought it was a stapler pin (something I could expect to find in downtown Seattle). But this thing looks like it’s perfect to puncture bicycle tire while having no effect on car tires. I think someone intentionally buys these things and throws them on the streets. Why isn’t it considered an act of public terrorism? I came to the US from Russia (green card lottery). I don’t want to support petrocracies by buying gasoline for cars. So I decided to buy an e-bike to decrease consumption of fuel thus cutting off money supply for chekist junta in fascist Russia.
Seattle Police could say they have more important things to do, but is it really true? What is more important than stopping real fascists from killing literally hundreds of thousands of people? Bicycle is the pertect super weapon against petrocracies like Russia or Iran. And you don’t need to make everyone cycle, it would be enough 5-7% of the population to commute by bicycle on daily basis to drop the price of oil (it’s very sensitive market). I think such activity should be considered as an act of public terrorism or at least heavily fined (by a $1000). And this policy should be enforced by police without excuses.
