I rode bmx growing up, didn’t do too much besides jumps, stopped riding for awhile. Even picked up MTB but am feeling bmx lately and wanting to get back into it. I’m a short 5’6 if it matters. Just want opinions! Links below

  1. Both are hi ten steel which is not desirable. If you have the extra $ get yourself a chromoly bike. If not, the kink is so cheap, it’s kinda like who cares. You can ride it now and worry about upgrading the parts later. Also I love that gold.

  2. randomlystable on

It is simple enough to compare specs online. For the extra hundred bucks of the Verde you get a sealed front hub, a fully sealed rear hub, and a sealed bottom bracket. The Curb (loose front hub, partially sealed rear hub, american BB) does not have this and is a very small bike meant as an introductory to bmx bikes for kids.

  3. If your budget is under £300 buy second hand, you’ll get far better components and you can then replace bits out as you go to build your own custom
