I’ve recently had a bit of an accident with my bike that resulted in a fall. After inspecting my bike, I’m a bit concerned about the condition of the carbon frame. I’m not sure about the extent of the damage and would love to get your opinions on the best course of action.
Is it necessary to completely replace the frame, or is it possible to repair the damage with a special treatment? I’ve heard about techniques that can fix carbon, followed by a paint application to make everything look as good as new, but I’m not sure if that’s a viable option or if it would compromise the structural integrity of the bike.
This is an Ultimate CF SL 8 Aero last gen.
Any help, advice, or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. I really care about my bike and hope to find the best solution to get it back in shape without compromising my safety or that of others.
