Dream bike has arrived and I’m beyond happy 😂 Grizl CF SL8 1by. Put my brooks saddle on, got a bigger cassette to put on with the new flared handlebars tomorrow. Took the wheel set off and put them on my other gravel bike and stuck my obnoxiously loud Hunts on this one. Rides super nice.
A quick note on sizing, the canyon website puts me (168cm tall) right in the XS small box. But when I looked at the actual measurements on the geometry page the small size was a much closer match to my current gravel bike that Ive ridden on everything from mountain passes to 350km adventures. So I took the gamble and it’s paid off, I couldn’t imagine the bike being any smaller as the fit is already super nice, just a few tweaks to make which I’ll figure out as i smash a few more rides.
