Is the eurovelo 9 developed in Poland or it just follows some random roads?

I will cross from Slovakia to Gdansk next month so I am wondering is it work sticking to it.

Poland has invested heavily in upgrading sidewalks to combined or segregated foot- and cycleways. So, even where the Eurovelo 9 “follows random roads”, there is always a safe way to cycle along them. OpenStreetMap-based apps like OSMAnd, Organic Maps, or Komoot have pretty good coverage of all that cycling infrastructure between Slovakia and Gdansk.
