Excessive. Seasonally is fine, outside of the chain. Chain depends on what lubrication you use. But good chains are cheap, so I do basic maintenance and change chains regularly instead of changing cassettes/cogs chainrings regularly.
But, there is something therapeutic about a clean bike and drivetrain. I only obsess about my “Sunday drivers” that are rare and/or vintage.

Depending on the weather, I lube the chain once every 10 days. I may wipe the frame down if it looks dirty. I’m mostly looking for chain stretch because of the amount of stress it’s under. Since a deformed chain can eat up the gears, I’ll pop a new one on once it exceeds the gauged allowance.
Edit: I commute to work daily and ride on the weekends for about 200 miles a week.

Get a solid chain and some good lube, keeping it wiped down and lubed is all I would recommend for weekly maintenance.
Obviously a spray down or wash if you’re out in the rain. I did wash mine last week after 60mi in full out rain!
EDIT: be sure you’re greasing all those threads and contact points when you re-assemble.

I do a superficial clean all over post-ride if I’ve been riding in snow or mud, salted roads etc. A basic drivetrain maintenance maybe every 2 weeks if I’ve been riding in poor conditions or once every 3-4 weeks if the weather has been good lol. I might give the chain a quick wiping down if it’s looking a bit grimy or something.

Never once
Every week?!?
A deep clean – once a year
Quarterly maintenance.
