  2. yep, I think people get too worked up about the small pebbles part of “gravel” it’s a silly name, just get out and ride wherever you want, these bikes are built to conquer almost any type of adventure!

    Yes! Every since I got a gravel/dirt trail capable bike (my Surly Bridge Club), I have had that exhilaration of just being able to turn off the road, follow a trail, ride through a field, explore some dirt road turn off that catches my eye. You can just … go. Love your photo; it looks just like the kind of place where I realize I can just take the bike and keep going.

    Coming from xc riding and just getting out in nature, I’ve recently purchased my first gravel, and I’m using it for more urban exploring. I can go further without fatigue. Not necessarily in super rough terrain like on the mtb, but definitely further in less time!

    Cycling has always meant freedom of discovery to me. Gravel takes it to the peak: on road off road there are (relatively) no limits
