Foreign Looks good let’s open the boxes I’m amazed I did really not expect that Welcoming Greece we made it to Athens yesterday um checked in to this hotel that first impression was there are a lot of green trees in the street which I love um and also welcome to me eating my way through Greece we already went to a restaurant

Yesterday but I was too tired to film any of it um anyways starting off this morning with coffee we got ourselves some coffee this is what Alex wants to get next I don’t know even though it’s a sugar with sugar and sugar and the bellina and then some sugar and then some crack

Biscuit on top hmm foreign Foreign Happy So stay in Athens is almost over believing tomorrow morning we really enjoyed our time here something that I immediately noticed is how green the city is I mean Hello all the streets are super green which is so nice love that overall we really liked it a lot of good healthy

Vegetarian and vegan food options everywhere that was amazing and the coffees and everything it just felt the whole city felt so alive and so welcoming and a lot of things are happening on the street Outdoors which I love I mean a really good impression but

There’s also a lot of poverty a lot of drugs so many drugs when we booked the hotel I read a review or a few reviews actually that said you have to be careful not to step in a siren and I was like or in a needle

Or something and I was like yeah sure people are so like over the top but actually it’s true I almost stepped in the needle yesterday and our way back to the hotel um so so many people with their gas stoves preparing the next drug shot just now walked by someone preparing uh

That white powder for the nose or I don’t know any kind of drug I just feel really sorry for them also to be honest a bit unsafe it’s just not a very safe feeling anyways it’s still a very positive um image that I got from Greece so far really nice people really

Good country so far very excited uh we have about 80 kilometers ahead of us two Ferry rides and it’s very very very hot It’s so green here everywhere that’s so amazing so far there are a lot of bike paths with some uh I mean excited about but also I did not expect that oh and it’s a Sunday morning early morning that’s why there’s not a lot of traffic right now um

Not complaining about that as well okay well command wants us to craft Um the train station but uh yep he wants us to climb up the stairs with the bikes in your Shore cool it’s heavy incline oh so that’s why we pushed the bikes up I couldn’t do it without Alex help it was very stupid All right thank you lunch break at a church because there are some benches and the people are so friendly a man walks by and gave us a bottle of water and he wanted to say cheers and Alex didn’t understand and and just grabbed the bottle look at that Sunday this is huge Mountaintop

Thank you oh my God I just can’t believe it this is just too beautiful to be true Thank you Okay Portugal you’ve officially lost me with no grease the people are so friendly and so amazing smile at them a day smiled back and they want to talk to you and ask where you’re from and what you’ve seen and how you like Greece you know of course we love it so far and

Streets are in a pretty good condition I mean maybe that will change and it’s only been day one but the drivers um they are bike friendly I I can’t believe it they are really driving like reasonable drivers oh I must be in Paradise It’s a Greek Paradise Ah yeah so that’s why I cut but you don’t even need to think about it riding on that for a few minutes no one hour ago I was like oh this is so nice here well it’s also extremely hot and unbearably hot the Sun is

Burning my skin so I had to cover up even though I’m sweating like crazy we don’t have much water left and we’re so thirsty all the time because how many degrees is it in the sun 45 or something hot at least very very hot we’re at 65 kilometers about 20 left

Had to stop at a mini supermarket to get something to drink out of water definitely the hottest since we started this trip um miscalculated the amount of water that we would need now I’m super stoked to arrive at the campground and then hop in the ocean because apparently

Campground is really close to the beach ah the road we’re supposed to take is closed and we are very exhausted already ah deviation okay well the cars are driving on on the road two the deviation Horrors good people that we are thank God the signs are in English as well I’m starving

Only had a yoga today so hungry we want to take that moving bridge but we we think that says it only open 1033 and what would mean we have to wait 35 minutes but and that was exciting okay I can’t believe how lucky we are we just arrived at the campground checked

In and now it’s raining first time ever that’s wow I mean he could have waited half more hour to till we got the tent up but still uh yep so now it’s the rain has it intensified And I wanted to hop in the ocean good morning everybody day two of cycling Grease slept at a campground last night was okay but to be honest super Fed Up by campgrounds it’s the high season and it’s just always so loud so many people and there was a crying baby next to us

And the dog that was barking non-stop very expensive here we paid 21 euros and the showers were cold and very dirty it’s just not a very good deal you know my camping is not that easy because touristic area and their wildfires and also I mean it’s extremely hot we

Have nights with 28 degrees Celsius so in the tent more than 30 because I would love to Wild camp and in between go to a hotel everything’s booked out so we were trying to figure out a route something in advance I mean in advance means like more than one day before

Uh man but it’s so difficult we are thinking about doing island hopping today we’re headed towards another campground the road conditions pretty good up until now it’s only day two but still um way better than Portugal and people are very friendly people were trying to tell us oh watch

Out if you’re complaining about Portugal Greece is going to be hell for you but honestly it’s not it’s I don’t want to say better but more fun for us we were just hunted by dogs I’m shaking they were ginormous dogs they were huge dogs and it was like in that in a

Horror movie you know in the beginning we heard them barking and they were separate from us by a fence and they were wrong running along the fence with us and I felt uncomfortable because they were barking in a way that sounded aggressive guess what defense had a hole

And suddenly they were around us barking and I was so scared I screamed from the top of my lungs and I was too afraid to look what they did but I tried to cycle as fast as I could but Alex had me screaming actually made them stop yeah that was very very scary

Made a quick stop in Corinthos today is Monday um but it’s a public holiday I read about that yesterday evening and I thought shoot because we couldn’t go food shopping yesterday obviously it was a Sunday now we found a supermarket that’s still open and got us some fruit Foreign I think it’s the heat that’s really wearing me out yeah around 40 kilometers left and I’m dead Totally deserved beer we did the 80 kilometers while I struggled but we did it foreign because that was really good um the campground is really nice as well oh I didn’t tell you guys we almost did not get in because we arrived and it well it is a fairly small Campground and

We asked oh do you have a place for two people and one small tent and usually the answers always yes and the owner of the campground was like well if you don’t have a reservation then no and we’re like oh no I was totally dead devastated because we cycled 80

Kilometers and then we asked okay do you know something close by and he’s you are 20 kilometers from here my my jaw dropped I was like trying to kill oh my God I cannot do that Alex respond ing you know we’re here with the bikes

And then he he said oh yeah here with the bike so no cars but then let me get you another place and he squeezed Us in which is amazing I will close my neighbors seem to be really nice we had a good dinner we had a beer I’m happy but good night
