[1] Beef and Pork

The classic Argentinian Chorizo Sausage consists of Pork, Salt, Paprika, Spices and Red Wine. While the Spanish Chorizo is more like a Salami in that it is an air-dried raw sausage made from pork or veal, bacon, salt, spices and, most importantly, Paprika Powder, the Argentine Chorizo is a grilled Sausage. The Choriman made his own Beef and Pork Creation especially for us. Usually he sells the Classic and just as delicious Chorizo at his Stand.

[4] Choripán means Chorizo in a Bun

The original Argentinian Chorizo Sausage from Choriman`s own production is combined with the Homemade Chimichurri, Criolla & Chipotle Sauces and Toppings in a Bun roasted over a grill fire to create a delicious Choripán.

[5] Mara-Döner is Choriman`s Argentinian Beef Sandwich
Argentinian Beef Sandwich calls “Lomito” and means tenderloin and this is as common on the Streets of Argentina as the Doner Kebab is in Germany. Turning “Maradonna” into a “Mara-Döner” refers precisely to this popularity of Argentine Street Food. This Steak Sandwich is of course prepared with original imported Argentinean Beef.

[6] Chori-Tan means Chorizo as Seitan Variant

Chori-Tan is a pun on Chorizo and Seitan. Choriman also makes this Vegan Version of the Chorizo Sandwich himself and its his own cration.

I started with Chorizo in the Corona Period. Like many Cooks I became unemployed because my Boss had to close his Restaurant. After that I had the opportunity to go to School to finish my training as a Chef. That’s when I started making Empanadas and sell on Facebook.

Then I noticed that many Colleagues also made Empanadas Because of that, I didn’t sell as much because a lot of people were also selling Empanadas. So I thought about it what can I cook, what Argentinians miss a little more special and harder to make. Then I started with Chorizos.

I had no Recipe and no idea how to make them. Then I started making small batches like 2 or 3 Kilos and every week I improved my Recipe. My Grandfather had a Farm in Argentina He had many Cows, Horses and Pigs It’s pretty old

He had to move to the city 30 years ago Unfortunately he is very old and he can’t remember his own Chorizo Recipe. He becomes very melancholic and sad when you start talking about his farm. Then he immediately starts crying. Unfortunately he can’t remember what Recipe he had used.

So I always improved my Recipe on my own through feedback from my Customers and I kept trying and for me is this taste quest is like a journey back to my Childhood. That’s what I was always trying to find. These are typical Argentinian Sauces Chimichurri consists of Garlic … Lemon Juice, Vinegar …

Olive Oil and lots of spices. And the other one is called Salsa Criolla These are chopped vegetables different types of Peppers, Tomatoes Garlic, Olive Oil and Red Onions. And the other here we have a Tomato Chipotle Sauce with Mexican Chili and is slightly spicy. I want a Chorizo Sandwich.

I’ve been here for a month at different places and times. I would like to be here regularly soon … I come here because I want to try your Chorizo and if I try something else, maybe next time you won’t be there… But Spicy or? Yes, may it be. Great. With Credit Card?

  3. Don't make the same mistake as your grandfather. Write down your recipe on several cards so you don't lose it. Your grandpa was overconfident in trusting to his memory and this is what happened. He forgot. Yet I heard that professional hypnotists can make your grandfather recall the recipe. It is still buried deep within his consciousness. Yes, everything you cook looks absolutely delicious. Bon appetit!

  4. HOla buena idea choripanes!!
