    Be careful with overloading that rear wheel, especially if you’re a heavier rider. I didn’t count them but it doesn’t look like you have a ton of spokes.

  2. i think those panniers are too big for this kinda bike. dont overload it. you can tour on endurance road bikes but you have to be a bit more considered. embrace an ultralight backpacking attitude, that doesn’t mean spending loads of money on ultralight gear.

    I’d be hugely wary of putting two 30L panniers on a bike with 28 spoke wheels. Not to mention that they’re likely going to cause a lot of problems with handling since the bike doesn’t have a particularly long wheel base. All of that weight behind the rear axel is going to make the front of the bike extremely light as it acts like a pendulum.

  4. The 2x drivetrain looks stock – you may consider a smaller small chainring for more comfortable climbing while loaded (if your front derailleur can accomodate). The best way to know is load-up and go ride some hillage – you will know quickly if what you have is good or not.
