Beginner here.
After a few month riding an old 2009 Specialized Hardrock 26″ (bought for like 50$) and having plenty of fun I’m thinking to upgrade to a new bike but I’m having an hard time finding what (type of) bike should I get.
Where I live there are almost no former trails, mostly offroad “wild” tracks accessible after few miles of pavement/road.
I’m oriented to stay on the hardtail side because I’m on a limited budget (1000-1200 EUR) and I’m afraid FS is overkill for the kind of rides I do right now. But I would not like to limit myself with the current choice .
