the crust has longer chainstays shorter front center, and also higher stack and lower reach, while the bassi is the opposite and a bit slacker
which one would be better for climbing steep hills out of the saddle? it seems like the bassi’s long front-center would make it harder to put one’s weight over the front wheel and would be harder to maneuver (although it would be more stable on descents)
the crust also seems to be more upright which should be more comfortable over long multi-day trips (not exclusively off-road) while the bassi is more like a traditional mountain bike
which geometry would you go for?

What kind of riding are you going to be doing with it?
I kinda like the Bassi specs better. With the 44mm head tube you can put any fork on there including 120 suspension and change the head tube angle +/- 2 degrees with an angle set headset as well. Lots of options.
