Is an absolutely Monumental release so many little things people really understand more immediately beneficial experience wor buying totally worth buying should you upgrade to the new iPhone 15 Pro okay there are a lot of reviews about the iPhone 15 Pro Max on YouTube and somehow everyone comes to
The same conclusion that this phone is worth the price but today I’m going to tell you why it isn’t at least for most people and let me explain okay so I switched to the iPhone 15 Pro Max from the iPhone 13 Pro Max and after using it
For a couple of weeks I really like a lot of the small changes that Apple introduced but I don’t think that it’s worth the price for most people but whether it’s worth it or not depends on what you really need and what you’re upgrading from so hopefully this video
Can help you make a better decision so I usually upgrade my phone every 2 to 3 years not out of necessity but just because I like new tech and it’s one of my hobbies I didn’t upgrade to the 14 pro Max last year because there wasn’t anything new that would make it more
Useful to me and honestly it felt the exact same as my 13 Pro Max except with Dynamic ey well with the 15 Pro Max despite no single groundbreaking feature everyone seems to say that this is the best all around iPhone ever and after using it for a couple of weeks I can’t
Disagree but it’s also Apple’s most expensive iPhone ever so let’s start with the physical design and the build quality okay so the main physical change this year for the pro model iPhones was switching from a stainless steel frame to a titanium frame which is supposed to
Be stronger and lighter I don’t know if this is a hot take but the stainless steel looked a lot more premium to me hands down the weight reduction is nice but realistically 20 G difference in my pocket doesn’t make that big of a difference day-to-day what does make a
Difference though are the new rounded edges which make the phone feel so much better to hold in your hands without a case and of course you get the same rounded design on the regular iPhone 15s this year as well everyone’s hyping this up but let’s be real how many people
Actually use their phone without a case another benefit of the titanium frame is that fingerprints are a lot less visible and easier to clean at least on the lighter colors like the white titanium I have here but I don’t know something about the 13 Pro Max just reminds me of
The iPhone 5s and that’s still one of the best looking iPhones ever in my opinion the color selection is also worse on the 15 Pro Max I think the 13 and the 14 pro Max had really nice colors that looked a lot more premium especially the Alpine green and that
Deep purple the colors on the 15 Pro look a lot more dull and pretty mid in my opinion nothing really stands out I just went with the white titanium I also like the natural titanium but I definitely don’t think it’s anything special either but what is special are
The new Slimmer bezels this actually wasn’t very noticeable to me until I put the two phon side by side and now it’s probably one of my favorite changes so they slim the bezels all around and that also makes the phone it’s self a bit smaller and what they call the screen to
Body ratio higher overall it looks more Sleek but it also feels way more usable with one hand now I usually use my phone with a case so the 13 Pro Max Plus a case around it made it kind of bulky and hard to use sometimes with just one hand
But now I think it’s quite comfortable and a lot more usable so I really like how they slim down the body of this 6.7in phone of course Dynamic island is still there and it is a change for me from the notch I like the functionality of dynamic Island a lot more but I
Definitely think it’s more noticeable than just having the notch there since it doesn’t really blend into the best as easily and then we have the game changer for most people USBC finally on iPhone life is easier on the iPhone with USBC since now the phone can share accessories with every other device USBC
Can also reverse charge things like your airpods so that can come in handy sometimes and on the pro and pro Max models you get USB 3.0 transfer speeds which is 20 times faster than lightning I think aird drop will still be more useful for most people but this is
Really useful for things like moving external files into an SSD which we’ll talk about later the one downside is if you had like a lot of lightning accessor series it’ probably be pretty annoying to have to Reby all of them in USBC but I think this is a pretty good long-term
Investment considering iPhone’s probably going to be sticking with USBC for a while I also think it’s kind of a late change to make from Apple because mag safe is so popular now especially with the new standby mode on iOS 17 which looks amazing it feels like the future
Compared to USBC now so yeah and of course we have the new fancy action button that replaces the silent switch it is cool to have but I haven’t found many groundbreaking use cases for it since I switched this phone I still have it set to the ringer since that’s
Probably the most useful thing for me I will say that Apple shortcuts open a lot of possibilities for customization with this button but even on older iPhones you could customize the double and triple tap on the back of the phone which is honestly easier to use than
Reaching for the action button on the pro Max phone the last big change that nobody talks about is that the back glass is now separate from the titanium frame on the new pro and pro max phones while this is a good thing in theory because now the back glass is
Replaceable and a lot cheaper to repair it also means that the quality control has to be a lot higher or you might just get a misaligned iPhone when I first on my 15 Pro Max I noticed the edge where the glass back meets the titanium frame
Was very rough and even sharp enough to feel it’s scratching you visibly you couldn’t really see the problem but you could definitely feel it when you just held the phone in your hand I tried to take some macro shots of it here luckily I got mine exchange at the Apple Store
But even with this new phone you can still feel where the glass back meets the titanium frame and it’s definitely not as smooth or premium feeling as the 13 Pro Max overall with those changes and a few setbacks I still like how this phone feels in my hand more than the 13
Pro Max do I like it more than the regular 15 plus though I’m not so sure and this is a trend that you’ll start to notice throughout this video okay now let’s talk about performance so most tech reviewers are benchmarking the performance of this phone on something
Like a geekbench test obviously in that case the GPU and CPU of this phone will easily outperform the older iPhones but two things to know here the first is that there is no difference in day-to-day use like sure opening apps can be a few milliseconds faster but
Realistically it does not matter at all and two is that the 15 Pro Benchmark numbers aren’t even anything special like Samsung phones that came out before the iPhone 15 Pro can still outperform them on Benchmark tests you do have 8 GB of RAM in the 15 Pro now which means
It’ll be a little bit more future proof even with new software updates but the only benefit I can see for someone today is if you’re a big mobile gamer games will load a little bit faster and you can probably run some more intensive games in the future but I don’t know how
Good this phone will actually run those full console games that Apple is promising to bring to the iPhone like Assassin’s Creed even running something like NBA 2K arcade edition I didn’t think the performance was that great and there were still some hiccups from here and there one thing I did want to point
Out though is a lot of people talk about overheating issues on the pro model iPhones and I haven’t experienced anything beyond slightly warm yet even under longer and more intensive gaming sessions so it looks like those early iOS 17 software updates help so at this point it feels like the build quality is
Pretty much the same and the performance is also pretty much the same so what makes this phone worth it over the regular iPhone 15 plus or an older iPhone 14 pro Max I think it’s the cameras Apple really did nail down the camera systems in this phone and it’s
Visibly better than my 13 Pro Max obviously but even when compared with the 14 pro Max Max from last year Apple’s claiming there are now Seven Pro lenses in your pocket with this phone now it’s really just three but you can still see how much visibly bigger the
Camera bump is now thanks to that new 5x telephoto lens speaking of cameras if you are looking for a case that protects your cameras and your iPhone 15 while looking good let me show you these cases I’ve been using from ESR they are the sponsor of today’s video but I’ve gone
Through my fair share of clear cases before from Amazon AliExpress teu and this is what they all look like after a few weeks not to mention they don’t actually protect your phone from drops so I’m using their class CL series case here which has a raised camera guard
That covers the entire camera bump to fully protect your camera lenses even when you put the phone down so you won’t scratch them the camera guard also flips out to become a mini kickstand that’s surprisingly sturdy and can be adjusted to multiple angles for watching videos this case also has built-in magnets that
Are way stronger than the regular magsafe ones on your phone so it actually sticks really securely to all magsafe accessories honestly this is my go-to case everyday now because it’s so slim yet it feels really high quality all of the buttons are easy to press it
Looks really good on my white iPhone and it also has these Air Guard corners for serious drw protections and if you want something other than a clear case they also have this Cloud series case which has all of the same features but comes in this soft silicone finish that feels
So premium and lastly they have an armor series which has the same features again but this time it comes with a camera lens protector and a full coverage screen guard to provide total 360° protection and you can still easily use the screen I think I definitely put on
This case if I ever went hiking or something so be sure to check out ESR cases using the links in the description below and if you are buying anything use the code 20 esr1 15 to save 20% okay so we have a bigger camera bump but let’s
Talk about what’s so special about this new camera there are really two main things on this Pro iPhones camera that make it better than the 15 plus and last year’s 14 pro number one is being able to shoot log footage and Apple log and number two is having USB 3.0 transfer
Speeds let’s start with Apple log so log is a super flat color profile found on some professional cameras that captures more dynamic range AKA shadows and highlights this gives you a lot more flexibility and color grading post- production and it’s pretty crazy to have that built into an iPhone now the
Downside is obviously that you have to colorate all the footage yourself and that the file sizes are massive compared to just shooting compressed 4K videos on the iPhone standard color profile but will the average day-to-day user ever use this probably not will I ever use this probably not because the file sizes
Are so huge the really valuable use case here is pairing the ability to shoot an Apple log with the faster USB 3.0 transfer speeds to use the iPhone 15 as a backup professional camera rig for example if you filmed a lot of footage on on another camera and you want the
Colors to look consistent you can shoot the rest in appal and then color graded the same and you know what that actually might be very useful for all eight of the people in the world who will be doing that but for you and me it’s pretty useless for two reasons number
One is that no matter how many shot on iPhone cinematics you see there are still real limitations to shooting Pro stuff on a tiny iPhone sensor and the 15 Pro is still not comparable to a good mirrorless camera and number two is that shooting on a smartphone today is still
Mostly about speed and convenience and the truth is the regular point and shoot mode on the iPhone is good enough for 99% of people and definitely more than enough for social media I actually want to talk about a big change in the default camera here since the default
Camera now shoots at 24 megapixels up from 12 megapixels on the 13 Pro Max and 14 pro Max and even what most Android Flagship phones are using today 24 megapixels doesn’t sound like a huge increase but it’s really impressive given that it does this by default in
Auto mode with no shutter lag and preserving all of the dynamic range this is probably the most useful change to the camera this year but it isn’t limited to the pro iPhones and even the regular iPhone 15 and 15 plus shoot at this higher 24 megapix default so the
Fact that you can get 24 megapixel shots and almost all of the camera features that most normal people will find really useful like Auto portrait mode available on every iPhone this year again makes the pro iPhones this year really hard to recommend obviously there are some other
Fun features you get on the pro phone like the new 10x Zoom is actually kind of useful and you get the additional focal links for 1.2x and 1.5x but it really comes down to whether or not you’re willing to pay a few hundred extra dollars for some bells and
Whistles that you might not even use and honestly that’s pretty consistent with every change on this new iPhone yeah the 15 Pro Max is still the iPhone for people who want the best iPhone I’ve switched to it and it’s the best iPhone that I’ve ever used it looks and feels
Great has one of the best cameras in any smartphone on the market today and handles everything you throw at easily but the question isn’t whether the iPhone 15 Pro Max is good or not it’s whether or not it’s worth it over other iPhones that can do 95% of what this
Phone can do for a much cheaper price and this is especially hard now because even the regular iPhone 15 and 15 plus have more than enough specs and features that most people will ever need in a phone I personally think that the iPhone 15 plus is a great allaround phone to
Recommend everyone if you’re really picky about the 120 HZ refresh rate maybe even look into an iPhone 13 Pro Max or 14 pro max if you don’t need the newest and best iPhone and if you are one out of the eight people in the world who need the pro camera features on this
Phone for your work or your hobbies then you should pay a premium and go for the best iPhone ever made even for myself did I need most of the features on this phone no but was it IR rational purchase no and now that I have this phone I
Might as well experiment with some of the pro features so you might see some footage coming from this iPhone in future videos anyways that’s about it for this video let me know what you guys think in the comments down below whether you think the iPhone 15 pro pro Max is
Worth it what you’re planning on getting and be sure to drop a like And subscribe if you want to see more Tech content and I’ll see you guys Soon

15 pro max was just as expensive as when the s22 ultra, it was Samsungs most expensive phone lol. So it doesnt surprise me that the 15 pro max is apples most expensive phone ever. So it wont surprise me if they quit making it
Great review, thanks for your honest thoughts on it.
I lost convenience when Siri stopped working, then I was going to get it fixed, but then I was like changed my mind traded an iPhone 11 for a iPhone 15, when I got my iPhone 15 pro max, I put it in a case immediately so I didn’t notice no sharp edges or had time to notice it, and this iPhone matched my uniform, I’m happy with it, plus I’m not a tech expert so I wouldn’t have noticed the small stuff you do.
Im about to go from an Iphone 8 Plus to the Iphone 15 Pro Max today and Im lowkey excited
I’m having an issue with the phone freezing, and it’s incredibly sensitive, it will sometimes react without actually touching the screen just passing my finger over it. Overall I’m disappointed
Iphone 14 pro max compared to iphone 15 pro max not much of a difference besides the refresh rate and camera 5x more zoom and the new usbc and '' strong titanium '' but other then that nothing else.. no point for an upgrade.. I still prefer my Canon Camera lens & my iphone 14 pro max
upgrading from a beat to shit x r
future iOS updates and battery life above the 14 pro maximum is more than enough argument for those who want a phone that won't give them problems for the next 4 years. Nice video dude
Love the 15 pm, using it right now. For some reason I had to have the Galaxy s24 ultra tho
Thanks for the video. I am on iPhone 12 now. My battery maximum capacity is 88% but I am constantly stressing about running out of battery charge. I always have to carry a power bank and it is quite annoying. Do you think upgrading to the iPhone 15 Pro Max is worth it for me? Or another model? What is the model with the best battery? Or should I keep carrying my power bank? Thanks!
I can’t find the cases that you showed. And I’d like the code for the discount. Thanks.
Great video!
Give me ur old models please 🙁
Thank you. That was the best and clearest video I’ve watched on the iPhone 15 pro max. You seem to be really honest about this phone and have helped me to make a decision. I don’t need all the bells and whistles but really want a pink iPhone 15 plus! So, I’m going to get a pink iPhone plus!
You are a 15 pro max hater lol😂
can I ask, I have a POCO F3, which is a xiaomi phone and a sub brand of xiaomi, should I upgrade to the 15 pro max?
Thank you for some good things to think about as I contemplate upgrading from my iPhone 8 Plus.
Great all around review
Should i upgrade i got xs max
worth upgrading from an iphone 11?
Eggspecially xD
Omg he is so cute lol
The sound seems too different from 14 plus’s too the 15 max
At this point, iphone is bread crumming us. The upgrade is so insignificant, you have to wait bare minimum 4-5 years to see a real tangible difference.
I upgrade from 13 pro to 15 pro max.
Basically, a new battery + bigger screen and a much nicer camera. Sold my old phone for $500 to a close friend
A totally fantastic phone experience everyone get a I phone 15 asap Att has the best deals
Anyone know if this is the right choice if I want the best possible recording quality SPECIFICALLY for recording with extra artificial light, overhead, and from up close (but not with zoom)? I record video tutorials for work and I would love to deliver the best possible quality, now I'm using Huawei P30 Pro 😂and the quality is very average, the autofocus is not that good and if I don't lock in the focus and light settings, the lightness changes every half a second and it's just not good. Help!
$2,600? 😳In what country? Cuz you’re not in America😅🔥 1:12
Should i upgrade im using iphone se 2016
