I have a couple of older [Camelbak Podium](https://www.camelbak.co.uk/products/podium-bottle-620ml) water bottles that are great, they are flexible and you get a really high volume of water through the hole, and the come apart for cleaning. The downside is that they don’t have a cover over the nozzle and can get covered in dirt on muddy rides.
Camelbak do a [model with a cover](https://www.camelbak.co.uk/products/podium-dirt-series-bottle-620ml?variant=46011436204334) but the max volume is only 600ml. I’ve got a longer trip coming up and would prefer something larger.
Has anyone found higher volume bottles that are both good and have a cover on the nozzle? I’m in the U.K.

Camelbak sells the cover aftermarket and fits their newer caps on all their bottles. Including the 24 oz ones
Maybe look into getting one of those “open” bottle cages with a strap, for example Cinq make one, expedition they call them, and carry regular 1.5 liter water bottle from supermarket.
I like the Elite Icefly. They do it in 500ml and 650ml.
I buy them at convenience stores. They always come with free water. Use until nasty. Replace.
Smart water bottles work great. You can even use them with a sawyer filter.
I just mash 2 1.5L Supermarket bottles in my old elite 90s style cages and replace when dirty or I buy new water. Sometimes I find bottles that fit perfectly. Not really possible with a frame bag though. But an easy solution and very practical
