So you know can we do something on Tuesday probably not you know what we’ve seen for the last last few games but hopefully we can see some sort of change on Tuesday but yeah Neil how first of all how are you I’m all right mate

You yeah yeah yeah it is what it is it is what it is yeah plenty of stuff plenty of stuff to talk about um I mean I’ll get your thoughts first um you know M we made five changes um Harvey V has got some sort of illness so hopefully he

Gets back to you know 100% I think he’s gone back to Chelsea and he for them to sort out what’s wrong with him so hopefully he’s he’s not yeah too bad but he’s gone back to Chelsea um still loads of injuries you know we knew that hunt

Weren’t going to be able to play either five changes uh Josh Grant coming in Gordon coming in obviously Marquis in replace of Martin who was suspended for for one game what did you make of that and yeah your thoughts on the whole game performance players manager what was your thoughts

When you yeah of what you watched yesterday um lineup wise I never I don’t think anything at this point because a lot of it is you play what’s available to you you know um week on week There’s either illness injury suspension and people just have to plug goes at this

Point in in in the squad and play um what’s available to you so when I look at it I never I don’t read too much into anything you know you look at the markers one forced has to come in no no you don’t have a choice um the game

Itself uh was bad when it it was it wasn’t a great watch at all it was it was an extension of what we saw pretty much you know the week before yeah it it’s hard to um it’s hard to try and break down a performance that is you know

So sort of anep in second rate because there’s nothing to compare it to you look at Burton they’re not great Burton weren’t fantastic you know what I mean but they’re in line they’re they’re in line with what they do they’re in line they understand and they’ve got a

They’ve got a thought process behind the way they play and what they do what you’re seeing from Rover they’re they’re out there for himself they’re all out there for himself they’ve got their own agendas now they’ve got 15 games and their own agendas with whatever their circumstances are in the summer um and

That is what you will continue to see until the end of the season um you look at you look at the goal you know the first one is there’s three phases in that box that we couldn’t defend but if you look at you look at the you look at the culture of that

Defending when um you you like you assess those three fa it’s just it’s just lazy uninterested defending you know what I mean that for that to for three phases not to clear your own box it’s ridiculous um and then the second one again you’ve probably got three four maybe five individual

Jewels that you’ve lost just lost individual just th just through being you know shrugging your shoulders attitude it it actually trying to win that Jewel because they’ve gone pretty much back to front on that SEC second one they have they must have covered 780 yards um so that’s that’s a mentality culture

Thing that is it that is is embedded in that in in that sort of squad Personnel environment you know and um you’re going to see that until the end of the season like I said we’ll we’ll be safe we’ll pick up points here and there but we’ll

Only pick up points here and there just by them Lads playing how they want to play doing what they do and then just edging sides out or being good enough we might might get a side three- nil we might get a side might carve a side up

And win but it won’t be through anything that has been worked on in training it won’t be anything that has been um implemented by Taylor given any sort of structure them Lads will just go out and play now they’ll just go out and play and that’ll be that yeah yeah yeah

Definitely you look at sort of I know talk about the team in the lineup that’s two games now I’ve seen that baggot and he’s petrified of Ariel jwes he’s petrified of him he’s massive and he’s he’s he’s weak as piss you what I mean

He might go on to be a great defender he might go on to have an excellent career but I liking it to a bit like when we had quansa he went cut out for League one k quansa he’s doing brilliant for Liverpool now surrounded surrounded by stars very little physical Jewels very

Nice on the ball gets the play out could play in League one he might like he’d be better now obviously but at that point with all the hype about what a great Center half he was and he is Taylor Made To Be A Premier League Center half but

He ain’t he was never tailor made to be a league one Center half I mean you look at Center halfs we’re gonna be coming up against on Tuesday night Taylor Made League one Center halfs yeah yeah yeah yeah we’ll get into that and that’s the sort of that’s the sort of difference so

There’s loads of there’s loads of stuff you could pick the bones out of as far as you know the culture the working environment the Personnel um the relationships But ultimately you’re just talking about that game it was horrible because you’ve got one side that were in line and in

Tune with each other that weren’t very good and another side that had the potential have the potential to be a good side but aren’t in line with anything yeah yeah and and of course injuries injuries are important because you know you got to remember you know Martin obviously wasn’t injured but

Suspended he he he would start Taylor I think is is a massive loss mccormic I think I think if McCormick Finley and Ward are all fit I think they start over um you know and obviously include Evans I know Evans a starter but you know I

Think they all start as well um I think Hunt is a is a big Miss um hopefully he’s back for Tuesday but then you know when we go on to do lineups later it’s not going there ain’t really going to be many changes maybe one or two but you

Can’t really do much with the players that are there but yeah what what really yeah I think yeah Neils Neils already said that I think a lot of us agree I think um yeah Evans will probably go in the summer um Oscar bar need a huge shift in mentality among the players in

Coaches agree uh for and blue when when not if Evan goes how much we R uh realistically getting for him not really too sure at the moment but he is um you know that was the only positive yesterday well there was two positives actually um

Which sort of sums us up at the moment one was the goal from Evans really good finish taking a tally to five and the other was that we only conceded two goals uh they’re really the only two positive I think a lot of people have you know um I’ve sort of calm down

I I was pretty um yeah frustrated but from what I’ve seen uh across you know so you know there there yeah there isn’t much to you know it was poor you know first half um too slow again no one really wanted to take accountability like you said the goal

The the goal the first goal is absolutely horrendous absolutely horrendous you you go on we seen the two goals the other night that was up there with that absolutely terrible uh and then the second goal you know even and even for a lot of this season even like under Barton there

Hasn’t been a lot of times this season when we come back and you know when they even when they got the first goal you you just knew and for me what I said I I made one comment yesterday about it being a painful and the reason why it

Was painful was even though we got the the goal and you’re thinking oh can we do something we were never we were never going to score another one we were never going to score another one we we didn’t really you know we hardly created much you know there again though there was

That one chance I think it was Evans before they scored that we had but again there wasn’t really the last few games there hasn’t been a lot of chances created um You Know Rich saying yeah vs got some sort of illness so that’s why he wasn’t there I was shocked as well I

Was like Jesus we had even got there and then yeah you’ve seen the yeah the bench was weak um but yeah it was just honestly so frustrating and what makes it even more annoying is that there’s still loads of games and I I um I was

Going to come to the question is do you think because at the moment especially with players out I can’t really seeing us getting many wins together in you know until at least some of them come back because they’re just aart from Martin there isn’t really anyone else

That has been scoring a lot and you know jaavan come he he looked okay um but there there there was literally been nothing and and it it goes from winning those two games Oxford and ex back-to-back wins and only a few weeks ago or not well a week ago almost

We were saying oh can we finally win three games in a row to then now you know when before Taylor or when Taylor arrived we we had one loss at home and now it’s five you know now even at home we’re struggling and and fans are getting on his back and rightly so

Because the performances and even some of the you know decisions I know yesterday we didn’t have a strong bench and I think we only had three attacking players but you know seeing Defenders come on and I and I and I I know he did try he went to a few different

Formations but like you said because you know a lot of players uh you know people might say oh you know people uh players ain’t playing for him or we’ve got injuries or some of the players that are coming in which I really wanted to see take their opportunity whether they’re they’re good

Enough or not or why why do you think and and I you know we spoke before we went live but you you’re sort of to that statement if a lot of them just aren’t aren’t with him is that is that your your thoughts yeah let’s maintain it from

From day dot they’re not having Taylor they’re not having him like that that group have gone through what they consider a bit of trauma because new owners come in job’s gone and they’re they’re fuming they’re they they are really unimpressed with that Saving Grace is mang still sticks around next

Thing mangs goes and then matey boy walks in they’re not having him they are not having him he’s completely different to what either of those two characters are which means the working environment and and the sort of structure around your days weeks and the way you operate is completely different as well so

They’ve gone from environment which is probably going to be quite um um upbeat quite juvenile quite quite playful and entertaining they they’re happy going to work basically they’re happy going into work to work for a bloke that they’ve signed for that they want to go to work for that’s been

Snatched away from and now the head Master’s walked in we’re not doing it like that no more we’re not doing this we’re not doing that now there’s two ways of looking at that like the players are right your professionals you get on with it you do but ultimately you still feel what you

Feel you still are what you are and Taylor if you look at when Taylor took that job he said we’re take I’m taking this job purely on not purely but I’m taking this squad I’m taking this job on the squad that I’m inheriting good players there great Squad we got a

Chance of really doing something now the only way you’ve got a chance of do anything if you get them boys on side early now if you look at someone like redn warock he gets them on side through their his own man management he sees what they’re about he

Sees what they’re what the way they operate what they’re good at what they how they like to be managed and he sort of masses the ego a little bit and lets him and then drip feeds bits and pieces in as you go to implement his own stuff while obviously contracts are being run

Down and go right you’re at the door anyway I don’t fancy you but what he’s gone in he’s gone in he’s gone this is how we’re doing stuff we’re doing it this way this is how I’m speaking to you this is how our day is going to go this

Is what your hours are this is how you eat this is where you eat this and they’ve gone the a for me and this is the reflection of what you’re seeing you can see it ear if you if you look at postmatch and um walking off the

Pitch you can thought see there’s no relationships there with him they’re not interested in him like there’s no there’s nothing there to say that theyve got any sort of warmth towards this bloke you know and especially you know you look at the lads that were were Joey’s boys they’re just the contracts

Are run down they’ve been it’s a three-year cycle in it so most of them are going to be out of contract all them Lads one eye is on the summer let’s let’s get this wrapped up and get me back up to a club closer to home closer

To me family because this down here this little project down here is no good for me no more I me yeah I I I can sort of see it is it’s hard is it because you know everyone of course is going to have their opinions on on

Everything that’s going on you know hear from hearing stuff in the background about ownership Etc you know the way the window went I mean um and like you actually said it as well like a especially after the game yesterday and even against Fleetwood he you know Taylor said about you know some

Physicality but then he he brings in well Aguilera who’s like you know small and aghu vor’s 19 but you know his body makes him look like he’s about 12 you know half he did bring in it’s a chopstick yeah I don’t know I don’t know what what’s your actually what’s your

Actual thoughts on on Taylor will you know we’ll get into the game um you know Stephen is in a minute Matt’s Matt’s waiting but what’s your thoughts on Taylor as a whole not not not just saying about you know obviously I know your thoughts on the play you you you

Think personally that the players are not wanting for and wanting to play for him what’s your thoughts on him as a whole from what you’ve seen because even even for he com in like you you you didn’t you didn’t sort of like the his sort of the way he comes across the way

He talks and stuff what you make I just didn’t think yeah I look I just didn’t think the the style of who he is and the and the manager that he is and the and the character he is suits that Squad of players and their personal ities um and

You have to do a big man management task to get them on side and he clearly hasn’t done it because the performances have been the performances um I just don’t think that that was a good suit as far as you know personality to personality you know um and inherit inheriting that culture of

Squad um it’s good and bad like the way I look it he’s had a rough deal Taylor I think I think he’s had a really rough deal he’s come in on his Todd he’s had no support for long periods of this um he’s walked into a dressing room that um

Have basically turned their back on him he’s probably not he probably looked reflect and go you know what I probably haven’t handled this great I should have really mashed a few egos just to get them on side a little bit and let them get away of a little bit of the stuff

That I’m not keen on but it keeps them you know on side for the for the whatever the 20 odd games I’ve got um to try and get us into a to give us a fighting chance because that’s been and gone now the Fighting Chance is dead in

The water so probably looked at that and G I could have and should have done better there um yeah I think as good and bad he’s what what you can’t say though I think what you can rule out categorically is to say that do you know what they’re not his players it’s not

His fault you wait until the summer bring his own players in and then you judge him well yeah there’s an element to that but there’s no way this board brought on a manager to say you know what these all the money’s all the money’s been done um but don’t worry

Toss this season off we’ll get all your players in in the summer and then we’ll then you can go to work they’d have said this squad here can you do something with that and he’d have gone yeah of course definitely because his interview suggested he did because he said I’m

Here because of the squad we’ve got because I believe that we can we’ve got a fight and chance of doing something well I sort of like most of us did in in the summer agree the squad was decent there was quality there but quality only comes to the comes to the Forefront if

Your attitude and mentality is right and it’s not because they turn their back on him because they’re not having him so um I feel for him in one sense but I don’t think he’s done himself a lot of favors than the other yeah yeah yes it’s interesting because yeah it’s all split

At the moment like even with me I was I was going to bring up the question about because of how bad it’s gone and the way that even are our home form is now took a turn for the worst you know only one win in the last five against you know

And if you look at our if you look at our fixtures remaining you know we still got I think Derby we’ve still got you know obviously stepen it’s Tuesday you know and even even the teams we’ve got a lot of teams now you know we’ve still

Got to play Bolton we’ve got a lot of teams though you know like Northampton Orient teams around us or even below us like Carl a at home very soon I think it’s the next home game you know that’s from looking of what we’ve seen that

Looks like it’s going to be a loss and for for me I was so I’ve been so optimistic for as most of you know with predicting us to win have fully faith in the squad I said it all in the summer but now I’m I’m really yeah really not looking forward

To the end of the season and even you know sort of go into games I’ve sort of it’s really yeah it’s not looking good I I was going to say do you think we we we’re definitely staring up yeah yeah there’s too much [ __ ] below us and

There’s too much traffic in between us like do I think that we’re going we’re going to go on um an unbeaten wrong for a long period no but we’ll be indifferent we’ll lose a couple pick up a point here win one out the blue we’ll be safe we’ll be fine because there’s

Too much traffic below us there’s too much dross below us and there’s too much chaos below us you mean you know um our season yeah our season is done and dusted to be honest um I know Taylor come out and said like is there anything to play for wellow about personal Pride

I tell you now that would just that would just raise the grin in that change of room to be honest because like you got to give a [ __ ] to give personal Pride I mean ultimately if you’re out of contract in the summer one eye is on speaking to your agent going right what

We doing what we got in the summer what what interest is there like you you’re not fully focused on these last 15 games of finishing middle of the road in League one yeah yeah because it just yeah I I think in the end I think we’ll

Be okay but even then it just sort of yeah worries me a little bit because of yeah the way it has been and I think a lot of a lot of people are already turning a lot of people are already turning um you got give him a fair crack of the

You gotta give him a fair I agree I agree I would I would you have to wait for him and I I know you sort of bring up that thing saying you know which your right to do it to say you know is um you

Know all you know give him time which I I agree with because of what he done at exit and and stuff but you know in another way I can see you know F frustrations because I I think it’ll be I mean it was bad enough last season and

At this point in this season when we were it was done and I was still going to the games in Hope and people were going in Hope but it was I think it’s going to be the same but it might be yeah I think it might be just as bad

If not worse if the way commercially you can’t keep paying off managers either you just can’t keep paying off managers you can’t keep you can’t have like four or five managers on a payroll because you just keep on bombing them out with in less than 12

Months you I mean you got to give them a fair crack of the Whip and um yeah of course the owners won’t want to like turn too quickly either because it looks stupid on them so um yeah he’ll be here for he’ll be here for a while like

Anyone I hope he does great of course I do but there’s stuff that he hasn’t got right at the minute um as far as his man management side of things goes and um but yeah will he be will he will he be far more comfortable and feel better

About things um at the NC 100% because he recruited his men yeah yeah there’s going to be a massive like like this Kieran said yeah I I think I think yeah most of the players um I think there’s about if forget loans I think there’s about eight or nine players out of

Contract I think seven or eight of them will be gone and I think it will be another for me personally I don’t know if you agree now I think it’d be another massive massive change in in the summer regarding players uh contract you don’t get another deal I don’t think yeah

Don’t matter who you are I just don’t think you get I think I think there’s some players that could get offered a new deal like I think someone like Sam Finley could potentially get an offered a new deal but he’ll turn it down because he’ll want to go back up north

Like I said this cycle of the project the Barton project and the cycle of coming down to Bristol living in Bristol with all your mates from the Northwest you know your Ms and your scouters and all the rest of it and um trying to build something it’s been gone now that

Cycle’s gone now they’ll all go back they’ll all go back home yeah yeah definitely we quickly get a few more comments and then we’ll we’ll bring on that hit the like if you haven’t already this over 50 of you in really do appreciate if you hit the like subscribe

Yeah I agree um Chris saying I I can’t see wi in the next five I’d put Hall back um Hall back in the mix and drop the lad from like for me even even Hall I don’t it’s nothing against all but I just don’t I don’t think he’s good

Enough for League one personally um but yeah he could maybe put Hall back in right back if he he wants to but I think I think he’ll be gone in the summer I personally I don’t know what everyone else agrees but I I don’t think Hall’s

Good enough I think he’s a he’s a good League two Defender but I just don’t think he’s enough I know he’s still young but even then he’s been at what is now this is his third season fourth season and I just for me I don’t think he’s good enough but maybe there’s there

Really much he can do at the moment especially in the defense because a lot of them are injured to be honest N Neil as right Taylor’s pissing in the wind against these players yeah I think a lot of people agree to be honest I think so too players look dejected and Taylor

Looks really defeated yeah I agree even the comment from from Luke Thomas yesterday saying uh it would be really really good it’d be all excellent if we could we could finish above 17th like even that it’s just yeah I think yeah there’s loads of things going on for and

Blu thinks will’ll have a new manager before August um even it’s not good to see Taylor turning on the players yeah even Taylor there was a comment in his interview something yeah it’s not good everything’s not good yeah even in Gordo Saturday shambolic we um Henry saying

Even to you as well we have inur he um pieces of the jigel missing Miss match of Players let’s see the season out and rebuild in the summer um Andrew saying I’m very bored of Taylor yeah that’s what I mean there’s there’s loads of things like whether it comes to

Transfers even the owners I don’t from hearing things about them and even the way it took what five weeks six weeks to get even get Taylor in the door I think tells you a lot about everything at this club to be honest um yeah we’re crying

Out for jch just seems a passion to win is has gone yeah everything is just um not good at the moment but appreciate everyone tuning in you know hearing us talk about the pretty much the same things every week but um yeah we are going to bring in Farley now um yeah

Even in fley apologies for the bit of a long wait there’s been so much to chat about for the the shambles at the last few games at the moment but yeah how are you and and and thanks for coming on yeah no Ares at all no it’s um no good

It or not yeah great mate yeah yeah it’s going to be interesting because yeah obviously Farley come on earlier on in the season I think that was I think that was Barton’s last game actually uh the game against you when we when when we drew one all um yeah looking looking

Back at that game quickly um again I think it’s a it’s one of our poorer performances of the season I don’t think we were very good I think Stephen has done what Stephen has do they make it difficult they they sort of in their sort of deep block uh um were strong one

Ariel jwes one every single battle which we haven’t done especially the last two games I think I I I said it we had um Ed Ed Walker um from obviously you know gab’s um podcast as well which he does and Ed we said the same to Ed I think we

Were we weren’t looking forward to Burton because they’re strong physical they win Jews like like yesterday I don’t think I seen us make a tackle um it was really poor um and going into this game but yeah that game um it which was one all I think that was Martin’s

First goal I believe and it was a l of a goal I think he chipped the keeper from like 30 yards out um and we got a point but yeah thought what’s what’s your been your thoughts like what was your thoughts on on that game I know it’s quite a while ago but

You know I think for you it was good to take a point I think for you even then you were you were doing well but I think this I think a lot of teams say if you can take a point from the men then it’s

A good point but yeah we were we were not very good in that game I I remember yeah no um no I looked upon it as a really good point for us um you know when we played your we we hadn’t we hadn’t had a win in a couple of weeks uh

We lost to Blackpool 3-0 and then we got a nil-nil draw against Port Val on the Saturday before we played du so for us it was just about getting another result again um and then turning those kind of results into wins which we did after we got that point against yourselves um

Yeah look decent night um we we were happy to go one nil up in it and Jamie Reid you know scores the opener as jamy Reed’s done a lot this season yeah on fire he’s got 17 in the league he scored again yesterday um so yeah really

Positive night uh we had the chance to win it in the second half early in the second half when uh Kane hemings was put clean through OB we to do is volley the ball down it’s 2-0 and he smashes it over the bar and then and then you get

That goal at the end so no look really good point for us that night um a lot a lot of our fans were disappointed that that we didn’t win the game but um I thought it was a really positive Point uh away from home Tuesday night again

Got us two draws of the board after losing against blackpole and actually from blackpole uh we went on an unbeaten run for a good few months so um until I think we we played barnesley away day before Christmas Eve and that was the first loss since Blackpool so yeah good

Point for us I thought I thought we played really well that night and um and yeah yeah I thought we I thought it was a good result for us yeah it’s yeah it’s interesting because like I said that was Barton’s last game and then you know it

Took what five weeks to get a new manager you know obvious You’ probably heard us talking about it that the way it took took you know the owners to get Taylor in took him ages going through all different types of managers but yeah since then and even know even then like

You said before that game and it’s a bit of bit of stuff that’s been happening the last few weeks for us uh a lot of and even going from you know the exit result at home we lost uh what two two and a half three weeks ago where teams

Have been coming to us like look at Burton yesterday right it was written you know they had only won two away games all season before yesterday come to us you know we were poor they get the result fleetw again they’d only won one game they beat Portville 3-0 napas was

Like oh I’d love to get a point um you know he’s going their sixh hour Journey they again they’ve been on such poor form one win in 15 they come to us they get probably their easiest win of the season and that game like you said you

Were on a a bad Runner form you know three or four games I think without a win you come to us you you didn’t win but you got a point but yeah that game I remember even the game I thought yeah I thought it was really frustrating and

You all probably have a lot of confidence coming into it and again uh the last two games you know you’ve had um a draw against portvel uh a defeat at home to Rin but fair play to R and even you know they’ve been on a quite a good run they haven’t

Won lows and lows but they’ve only got one loss in 12 so and then like you said you beat Black pull at home beat Wigan uh away and then obviously you beat Shrewsbury away as well so what’s your thoughts from the last couple of games that loss at home to readen you know

Stepen is not scoring which is unheard of because like you said Jamie Reid who who sort of struggled in the efl before going to you he he done well at talk and the national leagues he struggled a bit at Manel but he’s absolutely on fire and then the draw against Portville a team

That are fighting down there to tr of stay up because there’s a bit of a mess there as well what’s been your thoughts on the last few games getting one point out the last two are you disappointed uh you know where where did things sort of

Um and lost that day two1 but played brilliantly especially in the second half um and went out the FA Cup and then we got back to beating Shrewsbury Shrewsbury uh wigg and Blackpool were fantastic wins um you know the second half performance at Wigan was brilliant the second half performance against

Blackpool was brilliant so um I think coming into reading which was last Tuesday you know it was a game in hand for us and we looked upon it as a great opportunity to put us clear in the playoffs and was just one of those nights really you get all the sides get

Every season the conditions made the game a leveler they nicked to goal bit of a smash and a bit of a smash and grab and and and we struggled to get and find a goal in the game and um you know those results happen every year to the to to

Sides it was just one of those nights for us yesterday’s result against Port v um we had a kind of a bit of a bit of a bad first half um and Port V have been a little bit of a bogey team for us this season every time we’ve played them

We’ve drawn against them we’ve played them four times uh two in the league two in the FA Cup and we’ve drawn on every single occasion and we beat them on penalties in the replay so they’re a little bit of a bogey side for us and I

Think what it was Saturday is the style that we play with just Clash styles with Port Vale really and um instead of getting the ball down and moving it quickly and cutting Port Vale open which was needed first half we were playing our direct style didn’t have a great

Half uh conceded a bit of a silly goal went in half time but Steve made the changes as we always do this season um and second half we were brilliant should have won four um 41 um got the two goals Rey scores Terrence vancon gets his

First ever League goal for us which was a great moment and really we ran the whole half it was all us uh Jamie Reis is a sitter finy Birds Miss is a sitter and um and it was one of those things penalty gets given to them in in in the

Last minute a lot of people didn’t think it was a penalty because it looked like it hit Dan Butler in the chest of the face but a few people have said that hit him on the shoulder like that and and the Lono give it and and they scored the

Penalty but um even though we were we were two one up and um and a lot of people wanted to win yesterday after getting beat to reading and and having that kind of response straight away I still thought it was was a decent point and and and you know getting a result

After last Tuesday I think was the most important thing uh and playing well more importantly as well and we did that in the second half yesterday so I think coming into this game it’s right time to get back winning Tuesday night at home um I think that’s kind of how we feel

About the game on Tuesday you know we want to uh want to get a home win as well on the board um want to get up to 55 points and kind of get the cogs turning we’ve got Derby away Saturday which is an incredible game for us so I

Think we’re looking upon Tuesday as you know the really important game this week because I think we look at Derby as a bit of a free hit so yeah I think that’s the Mind Set coming into it the players will be raring to go because they they

Would have been gutted with Saturday not getting that win over the line and the referee and well linesman giving a penalty against the team and they deserve to win and knowing the kind of players we’ve got and the manager we’ve got with things go against them like

That they get really angry and and the game and the game that we got next they’ll come absolutely flying out so um I’m expecting a big response on the players Tuesday but um but no coming into it um not disappointed one of those things tough game last Tuesday where

Where made it lever and just one of those things Saturday yeah but that’s the thing with Stephen H why you’re doing so well is that for one you know you can play Paul in and get a point you know whereas us you know we’re 13 points

Them one nil one of our three or four clean sheets in the league all season um whereas you like I said you you can win one nil loads of times but with us we’ve only got the five away wins you must be very confident of of coming into this

Game like you said you’ve got the mentality you’ve got the manager and the sort of mindset to say you know we you know I I think it’s one of those games where every every battle um and everything I just think you’re going to win I think it’s going to be quite an

Easy you know uh win for you yeah what’s your thoughts going into the game we’ve got into score predictions in a sec but just going into the game you must be pretty confident here in all the the bad things that happening at Rover at the moment yeah most definitely I I think

With us and um and by the way it’s uh you know I really do have to pinch myself though you know we’re sixth in League one and I think for me as well with us it’s kind of like I’m just happy we’re in League one next season like

Like the coming up it was like get the 50 points stay in League one and become you know a league one team we’ve done that it almost feels like winning a league in itself so to be um you know in the playoff race with with 16 to play is

It’s fantastic fantastic but I think for us what we’ve done and and it’ll go to the point of the game Tuesday is you know our manager you know has created a win environment at our club and he did that from when he first came through the

Door when we were down the bottom of League to you know the the thing is is what brings people together what brings football clubs together what brings players together what brings fans together it’s winning football matches that’s the key you win football matches and it brings people together and so our

Manager you know he he kind of put out a plan of right what’s our identity going to be what’s our route to goal going to be you know what players are going to suit our style and then you know around that it’s not just players it’s you know

What characteristics are they what what you know what type of men are these people that are going to play for the team they’re going to want to you know go into the last kick they want to you do all those little extra bits so I I

Think for us when we plan and especially this season with with a lot of the players that we recruited a lot of top League one level players um every we play our team wants to win and every game they play it doesn’t matter who it’s against doesn’t matter if it’s

Barnesley or if it’s Derby next week they’ll turn up to win the game and that and that’s the mentality of the team it’s it’s ridiculous for us because we’re such a small club in an amazing league but the manager wants to win the league that’s Steve Evans so every game

We play we want to win it doesn’t matter who we play and it and it’ll be no different Tuesday we’ll we’ll set out to win the game Steve would have done his homework um and and we’ll look to win the match and and um I think I think

With our team and you made a good point earlier I think with certain sides um you know you lose a game and you always respond and there’s a sign that one of our coaches Alex Rell used um and he said you know good sides never lose two

In the league they’ll always get even if it’s a draw they’ll always get a draw in the next game and it’s something that we’ve done really well whenever we’ve lost we’ve always responded with a result for for the majority part um so yeah look we very confident about it

Saturday uh but I think more than confidence after you know really should have get a result against reading definitely should have got a win yesterday I think it’s that time where the team will know that they have to win Tuesday do you know what I mean I think

Yesterday wanted to win got a draw one of those things but now I think looking at Tuesday looking at the week we’ve got the team will um will will know that they need a win so yeah look confident coming into it League one’s League one though every game’s tough you can’t Rite

You two years ago this weekend remember two years ago like this weekend just gone remember we went to Barrow and us and Barrow down the bottom of the thing two years on we’re playing you in League one crazy but Steve even got that team winning right at the end of that season

He picked up four wins out of five five WIS and got that team wi so if if he can get that team winning which were just useless my God he’s he’s he’s an absolute Saint because that team were atrocious so the fact that he got that team when he with those players genius

Steve Evans I tell you yeah it’s crazy it is crazy people you know I hate him but that’s that’s the other thing that you want as well you when you playing a team and that’s that’s what as a as a stepen h fan you probably love it when

Two up top his big goal re is going to play it Reed he’s obviously starting every game at the minute um and I actually think it’ll be Kane hemings that plays with Jamie Reid on Tuesday not we signed for D Oliver and V D’s comeing uh played under Steve before in

League one who’s got over 20 goals in Gillingham but um but Kane emings has has built a really good partnership with Rey this season and uh he was really good on Saturday when he came on so I think um he’ll play up top with Jamie Reed and really other the those changes

It’ll be pretty similar it’ll be Dan B left back K Pani Center off probably Terence vancon with him uh Luther Wilding at right back and then the other Midfield places will probably be Nick Freeman and probably Jake for deasy probably so there’ll only be one or two to three changes I think unpredictable
