I went on and changed the drivetrain, new chain, probably the 4th one to this day. Next my brake cables and shifter cables. I have no clue how to change them but I will learn somehow.
I cycled in forests, snow, ice, rain all the conditions you name it! and it took me 7 years to change some friggin sprockets. I am riding now and it feels like a new bike.
What should I check next for damage/replacement?
These bikes are some tough things!
Ignore the 44T marks!

Your story is indicative of a very successful Brompton Cyclist ! The 44T chainring does provide useful gear range. Out of curiosity, how many tires have you worn out ?
And what tire is your preference ?
