Not sure what’s going on here this is my crank arm and it looks like it’s missing a bushing ? The last photo is the other side for reference can anyone inform me on how to fix this or what the part I need is called

Looks like a square taper spindle and it is
not fully engaged. Make sure your left crank arm bolt has purchase on the threads of the spindle and tighten to spec.

It is missing the plastic insert that goes into the opening, all it really does on a crank like that is keep some.dirt/debris from getting in the threads you would use to extract the crank arm from the spindle. They usually are ‘affixed’ to the crank arm bolt and just snap.over the outer diameter of the metal encircling the hex. This type of fitting doesn’t act as a self-extractor, and other than aesthetic does no more than block dirt from getting in.
