Thought I would share this product in case it can help someone else as much as it’s helped me. As a racer at the front end, I use this mount to get more “aero” but friends have also used it to clean up the front end on event day since it’s hard to find a way to mount number plates most of the time. It’s especially clutch for small frames where there isn’t enough space to twist tie a number on properly. It’s made by a company called soprocycing and they gave me a code chase10 to share. 1. Has this actually been approved by event organisers for the races you do?

I know a lot of races don’t let you bend it around the headtube, let alone make it completely invisible from the front.

  2. I love how every gravel bike touts all their bullshit aero features and RDs come in with front mounted race numbers haha

  3. I don’t know man, those M5(?) nuts are just hanging out there causing all kinds of turbulence.

If the mounting bar was an aerofoil shape that the plate slid into I bet you could eke out another watt or two savings.
