Hey guys, I’ve been searching for a bike to replace my giant defy 2017. So I have these two options in mind, one is the Synapse Carbon 3L. I am not quite sure if i will like the integrated light and battery function because I like to do long travels which I need to put a handle bar bag and a huge saddlebag. I am wondering if the lights will be a hazard to remove.
As for the CAAD13, I’ve heard a lot of goosebumps things about it, but i am worrying if it will be too aggressive for longer trips (around 120km, 75miles per day).
I am thinking to buy a Garmin varia radar 515 and an Edge explorer 2. So it would be nice to use the money saved on CAAD13 for that. In addition, I’ve never tried a carbon bike in my life so i am curious if it is really “that” comfortable for a longer trip.
