Hey everyone, my rear wheel gets completely blocked when downshifting.
It doesn’t get blocked when shifting down one or two gears, but as soon as I let the shifter click 3 times to shift down 3 gears, it’s like the brake of the bike gets engaged.
It doesn’t matter what gears I downshift to. As soon as the lever clicks 3 times, the wheel gets blocked.
Sorry for the bad video, but I don’t have a bike stand at hand.
The shifters, derailleur, cranks and cogs are all from Shimanos GRX 600 series, if that should be of importance.
Can anyone help me out here?

It’s hard to tell from this angle, but it looks like the derailleur hanger might be bent inward. There’s a tool to fix it, but it may worth a trip to the mechanic.

Is this noticeable when you’re riding too or only at a low rpm/low pressure like in the video? How do your jockey wheels look? Do they have any play in them?
Can it shift 3 at a time? Your also not at the right rpm for shifting. Internally routed cables pinching the brake line when you make to big of a shift to quickly? Thats a maybe on the problem without being there. What does blocking mean? Do you mean breaking without command?
Not all shifters can handle 3 gears at a time and low rpm but that should cause the chain to just fail to shift not activate brakes??
I am sitting here and trying to understand how the shifting can block the wheel, and the only reason I can find is that something is wrong with freewheel.
Is your axle tight?
Is it a combined brifter? Is it possible that pulling so far on the shift lever to shift 3 gears is causing the brake lever/cable to actuate?
