Owner is looking for £1100 (Approx $1400).
Seems like a good deal to me and a good first road bike but I really know nothing about bikes, so I can only relate it to local prices for brand new.
Is this a good deal/bad deal or probably about right? And is there anything in particular I should be asking or looking for prior to purchase?

Nice bike. Seems like a reasonable price to me, at least it would be in my area. I just bought a new 2023 Allez Sprint for $2,500 CAD if that helps…haven’t ridden it yet though because February in Canada…
Not sure about it as a first bike though, they’re fairly aggressive. But if you’re pretty fit or only using it for shorter fast rides it might fit the bill well. If you’re looking for a comfy bike for long rides I’d check out other models.
