I’m looking at getting a new endurance bike to upgrade from my current “entry level” bike which I’ll be donating to a friend… with the same intention of drug dealers when they give people their first “hit” to get them addicted.
Given that I’m pretty addicted myself, I was looking at spending roughly just over £3k and take advantage of my works cycle scheme. With this I’m looking at getting an endurance bike with wireless shifting and a (somewhat) integrated stem because I’m a bit vain.
So far I’ve narrowed by choice down to the following:

At the moment I’m leaning towards the Giant, as the reviews make it seem as the most versatile of the options, but I’d like to hear what other people think. Does anyone have any of these bikes and could offer me any guidance? Or even suggest alternatives?

Between the Scott, and the Giant, which has a dealer that offers good service and you can get a full fitting?
I dislike integrated cockpits because the hidden hoses are a pain to work with if you need to adjust the reach by changing stems. And a fully integrated cockpit gets expensive. I can live with six inches or so of exposed brake hose.
