I’m 270 lbs, not terribly out of shape as I’m just a big guy in general but I’m fairly new to cycling, especially distance riding, but I’m hitting 30 miles on the D&L Trail in Pennsylvania.

Sounds like a great ride on a sweet bike. My struggle is to judge myself on how I’m getting more fit; riding, farther or faster than I did the month before. There are lots of hyper fit people here and I would go crazy if I compared my old, slow ass to their PR’s. Ride your ride and have fun!

Fellow Clydesdale here. I remember my first 30. And by the end of that summer I was rocking centurys
