So it’s the last day before the start of the gyro and it’s just an easy day so we go for one hour maybe a little coffee stop and then that’s it Hero square in budapest hosted the grande partensa of the giro d’italia it had been a long wait for hungary to welcome the giro to their country and it lived up to expectations huge crowds in the centre of budapest today is a possibility but i think uh yeah you know it’s five kilometers i
Feel at the finish so it is going to be tough for a rider like me but uh yeah you know it’s definitely worth having a crack at as they approached the final running to the climb to the finish It was a battle royale between machiavelli and binium grimai with caleb hitting the ground Where it all started to go wrong was about here when i started to go left magnus or when i went right magnus also went right and then we collided gomei and vanderpool came together a little bit and i was really like way too close to the wheel and then yeah when he
Propped i just clipped it and it was all over from there i think mostly at the moment it’s just skin but um you kind of never know i definitely i don’t i’m pretty sure i definitely haven’t broken anything which is good all right perfect cool I just have to go faster than him and then he cannot catch me is it a race in the race no i don’t think so it’s just a strange situation but here’s something inside the head though it’s always to a nice goal to try and take a teammate so i hope before the

Everything is that’s one team here in hungary and the other team is already on the boat to cecilia Promised against working for caleb set things up around about 300 meters having to sprint very early with fernando gavieria alongside him on the barriers and arnold finishing fast down the middle but the manx missile held them all off yeah in the final uh everything was going good until about maybe three k’s ago
And then uh yeah we just didn’t react when we needed to and then we yeah we propped too much then we’re in the middle of the bunch and then almost from there it’s it’s almost impossible to follow each other and then uh yeah i was uh
Way too far back in the last kilometer um and then yeah pretty much in a position that was impossible to win from so um yeah you know we have to learn from today what went wrong and then yeah apply it to the the next stages
That are going to suit me as well so um yeah i think that you know there should still be like three three or four opportunities so uh yeah we’ll have to take them you
