I ride vastly more gravel and road than anything else, but want to pick up a halfway decent used mountain bike.
These two are both available near me at reasonable prices ($700 CAD for the DaVinci and $850 CAD for the Kona). I know they’re a bit outdated, but I will only be riding it 3-5 times a year, so I really can’t justify anything anything more expensive than these.

Devinci Kobain definitely had better geo than the Kona. I would definitely choose it over the Kona. 150 charley only adds to the decision.
The cheaper one since you’re not planning on riding it enough for whatever the component spec is to matter much.
