I’ve got a new Focus gravel bike that comes with an integrated cable routing solution from Acros. I just noticed that the top cap where the cables are going in is slightly twisted. I bought the bike online and had to adjust the handlebars after unboxing. I’m not sure if the cables are cut a little short but I can’t straighten the top cover because there’s too much friction from the cables. Handlebars turn freely and there’s no cable rub on the carbon steerer. There’s a little rubbing noise in the frame tube when I fully turn the handlebars. Other than that it’s smooth and also seems to be installed correctly without any obvious gaps or so.
Is this okay or should I take everything apart and try to straighten this? Obviously I would prefer option 1 if it’s no problem other than aesthetics…

I don’t think it is about the friction on the cables so much as the headset is likely torqued appropriately. I’d bet if you loosen your stem and top cap you could adjust that headset cup. If you are unfamiliar with that, I’d suggest looking up some videos on headset assembly, it’s a fairly simple adjustment.
