Last week I just my shiny new Endurace CF7 in the Granguanche Audax, an ultra-cycling event on the Canarias. We rode Lanzarote – Fuerteventura – Gran Canaria – Tenerife – La Gomera, climbing just about every volcano there was. It added up to about 700km and 16.000 meters of elevation in 4,5 days.
The winners did it in 36 hours, including 4 ferry-rides, which is a crazy achievement. We went for the party pace which was still pretty tough, but a lot of fun.
