Light non glare paints tend to chip faster in general, it gets even worse when u try it on carbon frame. Frame protection non glare will be your best friend. All Mountain guard are the ones i have chosen for criticals areas.

No chance it’s production error. You or someone else are hitting that frame accidentally (with locks or other bike components: pedals, etc).

Changed flair to “tech help”.

It’s enrages well more, when your bike is Exhaust Black. AND CHIPS ARE SHINY WHITE
Wrapping can prevent this, partially

I will say I think Canyon paint jobs suck. I have had a BMC/Giant and 0 issues with paint chips in the lifetime of those bikes with wrecks and laying the frame against a wall/post etc… I leaned my grail against a post one time and lost a huge chunk of paint to the carbon.

Tbh Canyon paint is just kinda fragile.
You can try to prevent it by using clear protective tape, but little chips like this are gonna sometimes happen and there isn’t much you can do if it’s from a random rock or something.

I’d put some frame protection before riding.
