Hi guys
Currently got Maxxis Rekon EXO and they coming to the end of their life. They still got bit of thread but got a tiny puncture so need to sort a replacement soon.
Wondering if should just stick with them or upgrade.
I tend to ride but of everything. Gravel, woodland etc.
Cheers

Get a dhr or dissector
That doesn’t look very old or worn to me. Are your tyres set up tubeless? That should deal with any “tiny punctures”.
Anyways, the question is “what would you like to be different about your tyres?” Better grip, better rolling resistance, suited to specific terrain , etc?
Tyres are often classed in increasing levels of grippiness, which is basically the opposite of rolling resistance (kinda, sorta), so they’ll be slower/draggier/harder work on extended flat pavement sections. There’s charts to compare both Maxxis and Schwalbe’s offerings, which help you find what tyres might go in the direction you would like.
