It’s a great way of drying your bib out after washing it.
You take a bath towel, lay it flat, lay your bib on top and roll it up as shown in the photo and then apply pressure. I personally prefer twisting each end as oppposed to stepping on it.
Anyway, this will get like 90% of the water out of the bib and then you can hang dry it and it will be dry in like 30 minutes.
I do this when I travel with my bike. I hand wash my bibs and jerseys in the hotel/AirBnB and then use this method to dry them quickly since I will be using them the next day.
Hope that helps!

Did this on my last multi day tour. Did over 160k one day and was wiped so I rolled my bibs up and dried them out like this, but then forgot to take them out of the towel. Promptly went to bed and woke up to soggy bibs and another 100 miles. Worst ride of my life.

In reply to the comments above, that’s an awful thought. If my socks have been on, they ain’t going back on before being washed. I wouldn’t ever ever consider re-wearing my chamois pad after any ride without washing 🤔

Roll your bibs in a beach towel and make sure not to step on any trim on your way out the door.

1. Place bibs on towel 2. Roll them up 3 reenact the film “Footlose”, by playing the role originally played by Kevin Bacon
