Good morning all uh take two um it’s day four and we’re still in southern France and today we hope to make our way down to the Border uh with Spain crossing the border into Spain uh on the southern coast of France and Spain um the reason why we’ve taken this route rather than
Going over the Pyrenees as the way our luck is going we just thought we’d probably get iced or snowed in over the Pyrenees somewhere so we just headed south in France due to the weather and hoping that it would improve and yesterday did improve a little bit um however we woken up this
Morning and it’s just soaking wet and the rain is still coming down so uh hopefully things will improve um we’ve got about 380 miles to do today um into Spain to our next B&B location that we’ve booked off I Overlander and uh yeah so so there you
Go so I will report uh in later and let you know how we’re all how we’re both getting on thank [Applause] you anyway on the plus side hang on I think that’s better I don’t even know which side I meant to look at I think it’s that side anyway on the plus side um before we set off we’re staying in a lovely uh B&B here in France so we’re
Making the most of the nice luxurious conditions of breakfast whil we can food fantastic eggs and not just pastries coffee and a doct string yeah just’s going have a look at the pooches there they Areo yeah look those snoozing nicely so there you go it’s not all bad even if it is rain
Outside update later thank you Byebye A [Applause] So a little bit of an issue today um after we stopped at a petrol station had coffee and then got with all our wet weather here um we just got changed into uh our summer gear CU it was 18Β° and set off anyway we only got about half mile
Down the road before Paul said he started to hear a grounding noise from the bike which we thought initially maybe just cuz he’s he’s wearing less gear and it’s just the noise of the bike eventually we pulled over a petrol station we’ve been messing around and tested the bike around the around the
Car park and you could definitely hear a grinding noise so we thought initially it was the aabus uh chain um guard uh rubbing we took that off still doing it and our only then thought was well Paul thought that the chain might have a uh
What you call a tight link tight link so we’ve lashed it with wd4 and hey Presto um the grinding noise went so uh just a little bit of Maintenance now on the uh sorting out the ayss putting it all back together again and then we’ll be doing some work
On the chains to get them back up and running cleaned up and ready for tomorrow hopefully we’re going to try and get into Morocco tomorrow but we’ll sort this out first then see if we can book a ferry and then that’s it we’re off to to Africa thanks all
Bye so we may have an issue with Paul’s bike it’s make the strange grinding noise which we’ve got to test figure out what it is com from the rear end oh yeah we’re in the Rocco we’re halfway down to cablanca and we’re just chasing the uh the daylight before the
Sun goes down fortunately the ferry was late and Customs took ages but uh anyway we’re here all good quick coffee and the gone hi all welcome back excuse the uh helmet head so we’ve made it safely to C Blanca um good day today we left s Grande in southern Spain uh around about
7:00 in the morning I think it was headed to um Alerus grabbed the 9:00 a.m. Ferry which unfortunately didn’t leave until 10: U so it was a bit delayed there and then uh on the Moroccan side it took quite some time to get through customs and immigration um the bikes were searched
By well I say search sniffed by the security sniffer dogs there and one of the dogs took a liking to my bike and cocked its leg all over the uh the front wheel there you go um but apart from that everything went smoothly we exited the port were able to find a money
Exchange grab some Durham and um set off we’ve literally just banged the mileages in because the ferry was late and because uh it took such a while to get through uh the customs and immigration um we needed to crack on to make sure we could reach cassablanca
Before the sun set so we were chasing the sun again unfortunately today but that was always the plan with Morocco uh is just to hammer on down uh because there’s going to be a lot more interesting stuff later on so we’re here let me just show you this the
Surroundings that we’re in cuz it’s very very nice uh you can see Angry Bird and the Frog are nicely chilled out in a new parking place we came into this hostel through that gate there it’s got a own little ground so it’s nice and secure for the
Bikes and uh nice little building and uh I have to say in a very very busy cassablanca um the traffic was immense but um any we got through fine so that’s it so we’re here safe and well and uh hopefully we’ll be able to give you some more information U tomorrow um where
We’re off to and I hope the travel map is working so you can all see how we’re getting on thanks everyone thanks for your support brilliant and some of the message we’re getting is it’s really great so yeah keep them coming when you
Feel like it it it is we do get to read them and um personal ones and the ones on Instagram and the old Facebook stuff it’s a bit difficult for me to try and update every everything so and I’m probably going to get worse at it and it
These videos and things might get become a little bit more sporadic over time um but thanks very much Taada A okay I best move away isn’t I
