Hey guys we are even closer to Christmas I am very excited I didn’t wear a huge amount this week but the ones I wore I loved I don’t think I think I only had one that I didn’t enjoy and it was one that I was specifically testing out that

I had told you guys I’d try again in Colder Weather to see how I felt about it so let’s start with this baby so um I’ve said before last year I used to really love far away by um Avon and then suddenly I started really getting that

Tar note in it it started smelling so so synthetic and strange to me and I’ve always thought it had like a slightly Barbie doll head plasticky smell to it but I didn’t really Ed to get the tar um so I did say I was going to try and find

One of the old bottles so the Frosted bottles that have the pink and the black these are old bottles they’re actually surprisingly easy and cheap to get on eBay um eBay UK anyway so I got this one to try and I definitely don’t get that same tar note

In it it still has the same kind of yummy vanilic kind of unusual plasticky dollhead smell um and the kind of tropical flowers and the slight kind of peachin and it still smells a bit like an easier to wear more vanilic Casmir by chopad so therefore an easier to wear more vanilic

Um yangang in Gold by m MF it’s that same kind of profile but way more kind of custody creamy vanilla um and I just I was so happy to have this because I really enjoyed wearing this one again I mean I do think also it’s partly because I don’t think this

Is a perfume that I enjoy in warmer weather I think I like it in cold cold weather um oh my God I just absolutely love it so I’m just going to give you the notes and and it’s quite an old perfume from I think this is from the ’90s

Um I had it when it first came out when I was very little back when all little girls had Avon perfumes so lots of notes coconut yangang y Lang Peach Caro kund and orange in the top middle notes Jasmine gardenia Violet Fria osmanthus Rose in the mid vanilla Sandalwood Amber and musk in

The base so I went and had a look because I always say the same thing I’m like I don’t know what car and is it says it’s a white flower intensely floral sweet intoxicating fragrance similar to Jasmine but with a peculiar almond Nuance so there you go I mean it

Was just it’s just such a good cheapy now if you don’t smell that sort of tar note that I get so if you don’t get that in Zara perfumes in LFA perfumes um in things like what did I smell it in a while back actually the other yangang

Perfume that I smell not long ago which is the Mont Blanc signature absolute which I think probably would have been a really nice very sweet yangang perfume yangang and chewar is that one but it just had so much of that tar kind of veros smell in it so if you can’t smell

That you can easily just get the one that I had before in the se-3 bottle with the pink lid which is the current formulation um but if you’re worried about getting that smell you can just have a look for one of these online I think if you go for the Cloudy bottle

With the multicolored lid then I think it’s probably like an old enough formulation that it wouldn’t have that in it cuz I don’t think this one has that in it and it’s really creamy pretty oddly tropical I think they I mean I just I don’t know there’s just something

Magical about it I’m not sure I really get coconut particularly but it’s definitely your Lang and it’s definitely got this beautiful beautiful creaminess and it gets more and more vanilla cuz as you wear it so I just really like it so another one that I haven’t worn for ages

Cuz this is one that I like in cold weather so sweet another one that’s sweet and creamy you can tell it’s cold right M this is prerogative by Britney Spears and this is called ego I’ve moved my furniture around a bit I’m just making sure that these aren’t going to

Fall off because things have things have moved I’ve got a rug under my and a new bed base so actually I’m going to have a new uh mattress soon as well spent a small fortune recently on all the things I’ve got so prerogative ego is slightly blinding no matter where

I put it so let’s go for a bit of an angle it is to me very much like the original ego but it’s even sweeter it’s considerably stronger and it’s got way more goji berry in it so it’s a bit more fruity I’d say so the notes are listed

As Sandalwood apricot coffee Amberwood Aram saffron Pink Pepper and goji berries is some more apricot yeah maybe but I think it’s it’s Goji berries really is what I smell here in terms of the fruit it does it’s like yeah like imagine a creamy super sweet L with just

A very tiny amount of coffee and a lot of some kind of goji berry syrup and I do think goji berry has quite a specific taste and profile if I’m honest so I love wearing that one it lasts for ages it’s it’s really really sweet but it’s

Really pretty it’s very girly um and I think if you like the original you would probably like this one but it’s stronger so it’s why because it’s sweeter and stronger it’s why I wear it in colder weather and the other one’s kind of good all year round so really loved that one

Oh another one I broke out that I haven’t worn for well almost a year cuz I wore this on New Year’s last year when I in the mood for this oh my god do I love it so Christie your poison this is the current version or well

Unless they’ve changed it again in the last few years this is the current version of the Oda tolet of poison I I was making a poison video so I’ve got that coming out in not too long where I’m talking about some different versions of poison that I have along

With some dupes that I’ve been collecting over the last few years so I wanted to kind of be able to compare them to try and give you like a a cheaper alternative to actual buying poison you know um but oh my goodness oh such a beauty they only have the

Traditional notes for poison on for Granda and I checked the Dual website they don’t really have anything extra you know they don’t really have a proper list of note to break down on the website so I I I I’ll read these and I’ll just assume that these are still

The notes for the the modern formulation so in the top you’ve got Plum wild berries coriander an a Brazilian rosewood middle notes of tuberose incense white honey cinnamon a poox carnation Jasmine African orange flower and Rose Bas notes vanil Amber Sandalwood helot Trope musk vea and Virginia

Cedar this when I first spray it is mon ous in a way that isn’t great because I always think the smokiness in this new version and I’m assuming it’s because it is more it’s more chemically and less natural smelling than the old version I think it smells like cigarette smoke so

That incense that I think in the old versions is more of an incense smell a classic incense smell in the new version when you first spray it I think it just is very smoky um and really reminds me of cigarette smokes when when I this is

One I don’t spray it on my neck I spray it on my hands and wrists and I just deal with the smokiness so when I first spray it I’m like woof but then the more it dries down the more beautiful it becomes and you get that chuar Rose you

Get the plum and you get the honey and that is what I love about this you do get Sandalwood there’s a tiny bit of vanilla there’s definitely a spice running through it but it’s just Rich plumy heaven and I’ve with the exception of musk Noir from narcisso Rodriguez

Which I do think is very much inspired by poison I’ve I rarely smell a plum that I love the way that I love the plum in poison and that’s why I just sort of had to deal with it because honestly if I could find a light easy to wear

Version of poison I would be extremely happy but as far as I can tell that doesn’t exist I’ve never found that anywhere I would have definitely gone for mus Noir if the Musk in uh narissa Rodriguez perfumes didn’t smell so incredibly bad on me but I mean the musk

In here is like a little bit dirty slightly animalic but oh my goodness nowadays this one lasts considerably longer than the Vintage one that I have but I I love it I just love it and I think this is the perfect time of year to wear it but you definitely have to be

In the mood because the last time I wore this um I don’t know where I was in my cycle but everything was smelling a little bit chemically to me anyway and when I I was just like the smokiness was just too much I was just like no this I

Made the wrong decision for for New Year’s but at the moment I’m really digging it and I absolutely loved wearing this last week I really loved it and I fully wore it in the day as well I just was really careful with how much I sprayed you know right another one I absolutely

Loved wearing I’m hoping I’m going to be able to fit this on here so this is an old one from Lush this is called what would love do if you’ve seen my um limited editions and discontinued Lush video um this is in there and this is the one that

Honestly just reminds me of gingerbread it’s like a really and it’s the benzo it’s a benzoin absolute bomb it’s so much benzin in here but then it has like this kind of aromatic um sort of herbin cuz it’s lavender Tangerine so it’s got like a

Citrusy n like an and a bit citrusy like citrus peel but it’s got that really warm benzo in it is there anything else listed in here I’m not surprised to see cinnamal and I oh and kerine that’s why it’s so beautifully sweet really absolutely delicious yeah lavender Tangerine Tangerine specifically yeah absolutely

Gorgeous just so lovely um um I just I really enjoyed wearing it it’s very warm very cozy just absolutely scrumptious really like I said makes me feel christmy reminds me of uh gingerbread and other tasty treats that have that kind of Warm Spice but like in a dark

Way I already can’t wait to wear it again like this is one that I I think in this cold weather and at this time of year it’s so beautiful and what I will say is again if you watched my last Lush video I was talking about super milk and this

Is one of the ones I was saying I feel like if you mix a little bit of this in with a little bit of hairdress as husband then you’re starting to get something that almost has a bit of a super super milk smell about it because

Super milk it’s definitely kind of got a creamy Sweetness in the base whereas this is like a kind of spicy sweetness a warm spicy sweetness super milk also has has like a green strange bitterness in there and I remember thinking that when I tried the hair thing out um and actually I awesome

For a little sample so I’ve I’ve got it again and I can smell it in there as well there is something like a kind of citrusy peel you know it’s got that bitter Tang um that you get from like the inside of pith and peel and it’s the same here but

It’s beautiful and you’ll see what my husband thinks about this one cuz we filmed our Christmas vid um we tried the new microphones but I think they weren’t quite close enough to our faces so it’s a little bit it’s a little bit quiet and our living room is a

Little bit echoey uh it’s got terrible Acoustics in there but we there’s not really room anywhere else for us to both sit down and do this so we sort of have to use the living room so um I’m going to put that one up and please do come

Back to watch it on Christmas day I’ve I’ve edited it it’s all ready to go and that one is just going to come out um midday on Christmas day just to celebrate Christmas and we are talking about Christmas perfumes and I think of this as one of my Christmas perfumes CU

It genuinely makes me feel gingerbread warm gingerbread spicy tasty I just G what an absolute be um you can sometimes get it on YouTube but unfortunately it’s quite difficult but it is one that I genuinely think if you like the idea of dark almost bitter spicy

Perfumes and and you like a very natural smelling lavender a very natural smelling Tangerine but you if you really really like the vibe you get from benzo which generally I really really like a benzoin heavy perfume because they always give me a ginger bready feel like even um Burberry her the intense version

I think it’s is it called intense yeah I think Elixir is the one in the pink bottle and then the Browner bottle which is another Francis Kirk Das on I think that one is called intense and I have a little sample of that and that one is

Ben en heavy and I really really liked the kind of warm spicy feel that was in that one compared to I don’t like the original her I find it very very thickly um but yeah I mean yeah I I do think it’s that same kind of vibe so if you

Like that and you love Lush perfumes and you’re you’re happy to like pay for a discontinued one then this this one is is pretty special um all right next up keep knocking things my my new bed is higher than my old one so I keep smacking my leg into my drawer where my

IPad’s balanced this is just like I can see that this is like an easy reach this one this is Fresh Cream warm cashmere I just chucked this on for a day at work where I was in a bit of a rush I wasn’t really sure what to wear and I was just like

Just need something easy but I wanted something sweet cuz it was a bit miserable and gray and rainy and gross this one has vanilla cashmere wood Musk sandal wooden coconut it doesn’t even list the the whipped cream or the Fresh Cream or any cream in this it has like a

Tiny hint of creaminess but it’s more of a creamy vanilla this one doesn’t really smell a huge more so on the skin definitely um but it doesn’t smell massively similar to actual um uh the original Fresh Cream it it’s it’s got a slightly different vibe to it

It’s more vanilic but it is a very creamy vanilla um it’s definitely a lot of cashmere wood the coconut I guess you can kind of sense the coconut but it almost smells more like a coconut cookie this is one that at first when I spray

It smells a bit like a biscuit and I’m like and then it dries down it’s just like a really easy to wear sweet creamy vanilla Woody vanilla you know um so it just works to just Chuck on I enjoy wearing it it’s really nice it’s a perfect level of sweetness like it it

Doesn’t go too far into being sickly in fact I think the sweetest thing I wore this week was prerogative um oh well yes no I guess it is because it’s when it’s creamy and sweet sometimes I find it even more intense and if it’s like fruy

Sweet um so it’s I guess it’s like the vanilla sweetness rather than the sugary sweetness so this one’s still in its box you’ll know what that means this is lacost porm intense this is a perfume I got ages ago because it was like on sale I was buying

Something else I wanted to get free shipping um and if you know what the original lacost porf smells like I do think it’s a very cute little bottle isn’t it so cute have to find a angle so you can actually see um it’s cute isn’t it I’d be quite

Happy to keep this bottle except for the fact that I don’t really like the perfume so yeah if you know what the original lcos you have an idea what this smells like because it has an incredibly similar profile the notes that they give you for this one and the reason I bought

It is because the top note is caramel middle note is Rose bass note is musk Australian sandalwood and Himalayan Cedar now Cedar sometimes gives me an issue but those other notes I was like that sounds amazing when I tried it in hotter weather so when I first got it I

Didn’t get any Rose it was just kind of again something it’s very much like the je sander softly range and a lot of Gill sand things kind of smells like lotion and I found that with most of the lacost I’ve smelt there’s something in them I mean the lacost uh I can’t even

Remember what it’s oh o sensuel that one is saved because there’s a ton of benzo in that one as well so it kind of Vibes in a different way but I just I mean it’s just got something in it that I just find uncomfortable but good news is this in Colder Weather I

Can smell Rose and actually I was quite surprised to find that the rose smell kind of sharp to me um which I was not expecting but there we go I can I can instantly smell the rose in it now in hot weather I could smell it at all

Could not I could not sense that there was Rose in this perfume until I’ve tried it at this time of year and it’s perfectly nice when I first spray it it definitely at first smells more like the original one and then it gets sweeter sweeter sweeter you can get that

Caramel it’s very standal wood heavy it goes slightly powdery but it just just has I mean even yeah it’s starting to it just smells like a Joel S perfume and as I said like I I just have this thing in me now where I keep thinking oh that smells

European it kind of smells like maybe it’s like German or something you know I don’t know yeah yeah it’s not a rose that I particularly love it’s not a very sugary or Jammy Rose it’s quite kind of a little bit piercing to me now that I can smell

It but again it dries down you get loads of caramel but I just can’t cope with that kind of slightly lotiony SP it’s almost like a rose rose and caramel hair conditioner kind of smell um yeah it just that I just can’t deal with things that smell too much like

Body products you know I I just can’t I don’t know why I don’t know why it is that they bother me but they do so I’m not keeping this one this is going into my pile of things to get rid of but I know there’ll be people who

Absolutely love this and that’s totally fair enough I tell get it I can see why people would love it oh yes okay that’s just too much for me so might actually put this one over here trying to straighten that up um so then yesterday I got an urge for this

And I’ll tell you what I haven’t worn this for a year um maybe over a year because I got so bored of smelling people who smell like the general kind of back rat Rouge DNA or cloud or red Temptation whatever the Zara ones called all the different things Burberry her um

It was everywhere in London it’s all I could smell and then now that it’s winter it’s kind of been moving towards well sadly tar everywhere just smells like tar everyone’s got the kind of Angel Sherry type Vibe perfumes going on now although I’ve smelled quite a few Freshies this last week which was

Interesting um but anyway I was I think I was was I on a bus I think I might have got on a bus and someone got on from outside selfridges in fact and um I was on my way down to Lush to pick up all the stuff for our Christmas my mom

Just basically gave us money to buy Lush stuff this year so that’s really nice because my husband and I both love Lush so we’ve treated ourselves to some ridiculously expensive shower gels and bath products um hey if someone else is paying for it it’s all good um and

Someone got on and they smell like the backat Rouge profile and I thought to myself I have not been happy to smell that for quite a long time it’s really genuinely I think it’s probably been over a year since I wore this but oh my god did I love this yesterday oh guest

Seductive red I am so happy to be loving this perfume again it is so scrumptious it’s oh it’s an almond cherry Heaven it kind of fits in for me where I think other people like cloud so Cloud to me was just too sweet it has that tar

Medicinal vibe in it again um and I just can’t get on with it but I can understand why other people like it you know on my skin that literally smelled like granulated sugar like it was sweet to the point of Madness on me it wasn’t

So much on the Strip that sweet but my goodness my skin just turned it into straight white granulated sugar and not even like Casta sugar like big crystals of sugar so I didn’t like it um but this one it’s got a slight tartness from that cherry but it’s still still very very

Very sweet in the same way the backarat has that like almost slightly burnt cotton candy sweetness Vibe going on in it there’s just something in backarat that’s so sweet so the notes in seductive red are cherry almond Pink Pepper middle notes are cherry blossom Violet and Magnolia base notes vanilla

Tonk bean and Sandalwood I don’t know what to say it smells like backat profile cloud profile all those Pro you know all of those things but with cherry and almond and it it’s so Lush it was so tasty I I resprayed it I think I put this on three times

Yesterday and not necessarily when I put it back on in the evening I don’t think I necessarily needed to I just wanted to because it’s not massively strong it’s definitely good to put this one on your clothing but the thing is this is so cheap you can just spray it like a

Maniac anyway I have have a little backup bottle of this because I think when I got it it was so it was like crazy cheap I think I got it for Less than15 so I just got another one because I fell so much in love with it and then

I was just like I can’t wear this anymore everyone smells like this um yeah I just got bored of it and I’m not bored of it cuz it’s so lovely I also really really do like this bottle um I love this color it’s just delicious and it’s like you know it’s like a

Really easy version of that profile in the same way that I think seductive Noir is like a super easy version of uh Mongol Lan like that is also a very approachable and easy to wear version that’s not it doesn’t have like the the same licorice Vibe it doesn’t have the

Same kind of Puli Vibe but it smells like the profile this one doesn’t have that Band-Aid smell it doesn’t have like too much woodiness going on but it has the general smell oh so lovely um okay so there’s two more one I’m just obsessed with this all the time I wear

This all the time but I only pull it out to talk about every now and again um this is my skin mask oil absolutely lovely don’t worry I have got backups I’m going to put her over in the corner here cuz she’s a little poor little ugly

Ugly duckling of a bottle but that what’s inside it’s heaven so the notes musk sandalwood and floral notes is what it says my husband thinks this the the spray of it anyway smells like Turkish delight so I think he’s getting Rose from it um I can tell there’s Rose I think

There’s probably yangang y Lang I think there’s probably some Jasmine I do think this is just a full very subtle floral bouquet sandalwood and a gorgeous warm golden musk it’s so Heavenly I wear this to bed a lot and I love that I can like

Smell it on my sheets when I get into my bed the next night if I haven’t put it on it’s just it’s my this is my comfort blanket perfume you know it really is I have a a roller ball of this oil next to

My bed so I just put it on sometimes in the evening it’s pretty much the only perfume that I put on my body to Ed bed um I spray Twilight from Lush onto my bed sheets quite a lot um before bed but I don’t actually put that on my skin

Skin mask I wear on my skin I like to wear it all the time I love this perfume if there is a smell that I think is me then it’s this you know I do the spray it’s nowhere near strong it doesn’t last very long but I think it’s way more

Sugary and less vanilic than the oil and I think there’s more obvious Rose and that’s the one that my husband said smell like Turkish delight and I I kind of get it with that I think it’s slightly more floral and the sugariness is almost like a powdered sugar like you

Know confection of sugar so absolutely lovely now the last one that I wore this week I did wear for a whole day and then I made the decision to return it so I don’t have the bottle so I did my Lush video and I said I’m definitely going to

Return golden pear and I’m going to return um what was it called tender as the night because golden pear smelt like a kind of spice cider to me too much of a what I felt like smelt a bit like green apple so I like it but I couldn’t

Wear it Tender Is the Night smelt like urine on me like just didn’t work so that one was always going to go back I like actually didn’t like that one um and then I said uh I wasn’t quite sure about turmeric latte I actually I like T I like it like

It’s a nice perfume but I was thinking to myself about whether I was going to reach for it and I was also realistically thinking about how much money I had spent on perfumes from Lush because I mean I think I’d probably spent like 150 quid on on getting Lush

Perfumes um and I thought okay if I do decide I want to get turmeric latte back I can either get one on eBay or I can wait till next year and see how I feel about it then because the turmeric latte it’s it does have a lovely

Sweetness and I can see that it’s cozy but it is very very smoky on me and it does smell like a bombfire and I just I just didn’t love smelling like a bonfire I didn’t love smelling like a sweet bonfire because that kind of smokiness never really goes

Away and that perfume for me like it really hangs around my husband thought it was quite nice and I you know I thought it was too but I was like if I want something sweet and cozy am I going to reach for something that smells a bit

Bonfy and the chances are that I’m not I’m probably going to reach for this one or I’ll reach for this one you know or I’ll reach for a Fresh Cream um because I have fresh cream original this one and soft Suede and the soft suede one has a

Smoky vibe to it but it it doesn’t literally smell like a bonfire it does actually smell a bit more like suede so although the notes list Ted on for Gran tonka bean vanilla turmeric and benzoin I don’t dislike it I just I just thought I didn’t think that it was

Something I wanted to spend 35 quid on because I probably wasn’t going to wear it that’s just how I felt about it I I think I’d love smelling that on other people I don’t know whether my skin just really brings out how kind of bonfy it

Smells um but as soon as that was in my head I I thought I do actually feel like I’m at a bonfire and my you when you come back from a bonfire and your clothes just smell or even like an open fire and you’ll smell like that smell um

And like toasted marshmallows or something so I stick by what I said in my video if you like the sound of like toasting marshmallows on a bonfire and that’s what you’d like to smell like then I really genuinely think turmeric glass is really good I it definitely has

An earthiness but if you’d have asked me what was in that perfume I wouldn’t have guessed benzo Tonka cheer Amic and vanilla I think I literally would have guessed that there was like Woods um and like a smoke some kind of smoky note um and then I might have guess literally

Guess marshmallow because it is very sweet and maybe something kind of creamy um so it is kind of vanillary but I think the tonker is probably the strongest sweetness going on um and it I really think it’s a good alternative to something like by the fireplace or an um

What’s it called the the Tom Ford tobacco vene um because there is like a slight wet tobacco like a fresh wet tobacco smell as well it’s a beautiful and quite complex perfume I’d say it’s really really nice it’s it’s just not one that I feel like I need to have at

The moment um but yeah I might revisit it next year if it comes out again and I might give it another go and see how I feel about it because I’m constantly changing my mind about these things or I might have run out of other things or

Got bored of other things I have currently that are really sweet but yeah so um that was my week uh I oh with the exception of the one that I’m going to get rid of which is this little lacost babe I absolutely loved loved wearing all of these it was incredibly fun to

Get these out again because I haven’t worn these for so long so happy so happy that I can wear far away again because oh my goodness it’s just so sweet and girly and cozy I really really like the vanilla and far away I really like how

It’s done I I know loads of people are going to think it’s super synthetic though it definitely has that plastic dollhead smell but I find that so comforting like I just it just makes me smile so oh my goodness right so next week um I don’t remember what I’ve got
