I have a gravel bike with a 1×11 drivetrain that I mostly ride in ‘regular’ clothes, whether commuting, running errands or riding for fun. It’s great, but I’m ruining pants left and right. Does anyone know of a chainring guard that will fit an SRAM Rival 1 crank (42T)? E.g. like [this one](https://www.modernbike.com/shimano-acera-m361-42t-chainring-guard-with-fixing-screws) for a Shimano crank.

I am *not* looking for: a chain guide, or a chain stay protector, or a crank protector, or anything you put on the inside of the chainring to avoid a dropped chain. The purpose of the object I seek is to keep my pants from getting caught or greased by the chain and crank. My old road bike had one of these. There are a bunch of cheap-looking plastic ones of Amazon, and I’d be fine with one of those tbh, but I’d like to find one that I’m reasonably sure will fit.

  1. Not on the 1x, if you’ve got the removable spider, fit a double one, then get a suitable ring and bash.

I have a thorn aluminium bash guard on my road bike.

Alternatively, wear tapered trousers and don’t bother. I no longer use bash-rings on most of my bikes and have no issues on my 1x setups
