It’s my bad snapping this but my question is, there is no play in the cranks side to side, they’re torqued to spec (54nm), but is it fine to run the collar like this for a few days of riding? I can’t think why not.. replacement will be here Friday or so

Just ride and check it! It’s tightened by the bolt in the crank. So it shouldn’t move.
Shimano has started using a similar mechanism on their cues range. And it’s just a twist ring. Nothing locks it into place other than the pressure from a spring.
It should be fine for a few days. Replace it with a Cane Creek one.
