Found this trek 1000 for 200 dollars. Owner said he had it for 2 years. I’m a bike newbi so I’m wondering if it’s worth the price looking at the condition it is in.

That’s way better than a $300 Walmart bike to say the least
I’m unfamiliar with the model but this bike is even better than $400 Walmart bikes
Take caution with bikes with wheels like that though, the less spokes the bike has the more prone the wheel is to getting out of tru thus more frequent maintenance required

looks in pretty good condition. just make sure it fits…most manufacturers recommend bikes that are a size too big for most imo, and if it doesn’t fit, it’s worth zero dollars. looks like it’d fit someone 5’7-6’ roughly..what size is it and how tall are you?
The only thing that would give me pause is that it seems the stock wheels have been replaced with a cheaper set of aftermarket wheels.
Yeah, it’s worth it. Make sure it fits.
