[Applause] oh my God what a fight what a knockout incredible Lee Ward knocked out Josh Warrington in the seventh round the dying seconds of the seventh round in a come from behind out of nowhere knock out in what was a tremendous fight this fight had no born real

They didn’t take a backward step they let the shots go from the open round no feeling out Styles Blended together well as we thought they would tremendous going to this fight I was picking lee wood to win my knockout but I picked it with no great degree of certainty cuz I

Thought to myself okay Lee wood is probably although he’s older I would Hazard a guess he’s slightly fresher I Hazard that guess say with no great degree of confidence into this fight the first round it wasn’t a feeling out round but lee wood was doing well at range Josh

Warrington started well and then kind of just dropped off a little bit so from that first round you look at it and you’d say who would you give it to they both had their moments I don’t like giving even rounds I just don’t I’ve always

Been like that I always want to give it to someone so I just gave it to Lee wood no issue someone giving it to Warrington second round better round for Lee wood land in the right hand landed a lovely upper could TR to guard as warrant was

Coming in and I was thinking to myself that’s the punch that lee wood should focus on when you’re when you’re the the longer guy when you’re the rangier guy and you primarily fight at range a punch you should use against someone any amateur listening if you’re boxing

Someone and they’re a mid to close range fighter and they tend to come in yes move their head but in this case Josh W was coming in with the guard up if you’re doing that you’re open to an uppercut if you blind him with that jab

Take a little half step in and come with the uppercut you’re going to find your mark more often than not lee wood should have done that he didn’t do it enough but he was able to walk warron onto an uppercut in the second round won the second round pretty clearly right and

Then the fight just flipped where Warrington started to put his foot on the gas you got to bear in mind warron is a fighter who’s primarily fought for the ibf over the last five years with the BF you have to do the 10B rehydration on the morning of the fight

Which will take away from will take away from you it’ll deplete you a little bit more Warren is a fighter who relies on Fitness the WBA have no such rule so he was going in fully hydrated so you see in the third round he turned to fit this

Up that level and he started letting the shots go he was stunning Leeward more so than hurting him the shots that were going in you got the it kind of struck me that okay they’re not probably devastatingly painful they’re not devastatingly buzzing lewood but they’re getting his attention they’re certainly

Doing that and that’s what I was feeling Warr was doing he swoll lewood’s eye just kind of under the eyelid and then actually was able to open a coup but he was Reckless once again with the head Reckless again once again with the head Josh warron and I say Reckless there

Comes a point where it becomes is he Reckless or is it just deliberate because it’s consistently happening in fights now he was not as dirty in this fight as he was in Luis Alberto Lopez fight but was fight in which he was having more success than the Alberto

Lopez fight so you would argue that’s probably the reason why he was less dirty in this fight nevertheless Warren was doing well he was going with the lewood body he was really hitting the body well he was using his footwork well he was actually using his footwork to

Stay out of range so lee wood was falling short with his shots but Josh Mar was using his Superior foot speed because he had the quicker feet to just be able okay you missed boom I’ve got you and he was going in with shots landed them as I said got the cut on

Lewood’s eye and at that point I was starting to think could warron actually get a stoppage because it seemed to me that was the way this fight was going to go you know it was literally like warron is stepping on the gas I think it was the seventh round where warron actually

Had a point deducted because in the previous round lee wood complained of a punch to the back of the head now I was commentating and I said if you’re going to complain complain when your opponent is not on your face because that’s what he was and I was like you’re

Lucky he didn’t give you a free hit because he’s right there don’t complain when they’re right there got away with that then in the seventh round warron did get a point deducted for us it actually spurred warron into life and he really went that lee wood in that

Seventh round and then in the dying seconds lee wood lands a jab but then lands a right hand straight right hand as warron is leaning in the throw hisone shot so he’s amplifying the punching power of that shot lee wood comes with a combination left hook right hand left
