I got this bike in which I know nothing about in terms of make or model but I spent the last week or so of evenings cleaning it up and replacing broken parts. Overall I spent less than $100 and it rides pretty well.
It be eded a new set of brakes, new left crank, seat, post, pedals and a basic set of front/rear lights. I also bought a right crank arm but ran into issues with removing it as it’s attached to the gear (excuse my lingo) so I just put it back on as is.
Im happy to have it working and even though it’s got a white and a black crank a at the moment I may just leave it. I feel like maybe for some reason that’s a deterrence from steeling. I may also invest in a nicer lock and will take suggestions but ideally I’m just going to ride this from secure place to secure place though inevitably I’m gonna stop.
What are quality of life upgrades, safety, and theft deterrent measures I should take?
I am contemplating an AirTag hider in terms of a bell or back reflector and am not sold on the white tires…
